You're a natural born speaker, you're charismatic, self confident and don't give the audience a chance to get bored. I'm watching your videos mostly because of the mindset that you're trying to implement. Keep up the good work!

      I've worked as a life insurance agent, you have to be charismatic and come off as a leader to be succeed and be up to. My bosses, were boss af, and when the CEO came in, everyone sat down and listened. Great atmosphere to work in but, wasn't for me. I'm starting my own business growing food for restaurants and for families though, still have that businessman passion.

    • @Elodere

      +Valuetainment Hey pat. You should make videos on these topics:
      1.Key ways to support a friend's business and take it to the next level with him/her, what could really kick start the business?
      2.How to get out of the mindset of earning more and more profit rather than focusing on customers.
      Not so much an entrepreneurial video but more about your own opinion:
      1.Will there ever be a time when neo-communism could somehow come together with capitalism and make a completely new way to govern a society? I'm thinking about Mark Zuckerberg's claim that if we had wages for every single person, all problems would be solved, but at the same time you have the opportunity to earn more but it would be taxed less than it is now.
      2.Bitcoin and crypto currencies.
      Thanks for all your content man! Keep it up.

    • @thebusinesschannel3270

      Avoidious brother man! I'm from Quebec highest freaking tax in north America and most corrupted government and i started business with no money. Cost 30$ to register a legal name body. You either want to start or you don't! No excuses regulation blabla. If you start your journey seeing only problems , you will never have the courage to start.

    • @xChrXisx777
      @xChrXisx777 7 ปีที่แล้ว +39

      while this may be true, Patrick gives you the ideas and encouragement for people to go and start a business. Pat is mainly saying that there are many ways to make money and start a business and if you really wish to go and make money as an entrepreneur then you will seek the rest of the information on your own. Get a mentor, find out the laws in your area and invest in your business. Starting up a business is the easy part maintaining it and growing it is where you need to put in the hard work.

    • @Avoidious
      @Avoidious 7 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      I agree about courage and stuff. There are surely many ways to achieve your goals as an entrepreneur. I only made this comment because many of the ideas he recommended, if done by a 16 yrs old, he would probably end up in jail. Most of his ideas, without paying at least 1k here, you'd end up in jail. Not all countries are great. Patrick is speaking across many countries and his focus is on young people. While young people might have passion, imagination and energy to work, they're not all educated or may be restricted by their government. In my country legal name body costs 120$. Of course good entrepreneurs survive everywhere.

    You can probably do all that in the US, try this in Western Europe ... Take Belgium as an example (Brussels, capital of Europe), you would have the first pay out social charges over Euros 800 before making a cent. That does not even count the fees for obtaining a VAT number, the accountant fees, etc... God forbid if you have a good month, the tax authorities will use that number to tax you monthly based on that number ... close to 50% ! You grew up knowing Communism, well, in the old days, the state would take 50% of your income ... so we went from socialism to a hidden form of communism. We do have a lot of hungry and motivated entrepreneurs, but they often leave the EU zone in order to make it happen. Love your channel, thanks for all your effort.

    • @charliemcbroom5677
      @charliemcbroom5677 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Moise Levi I think Belgium is unique as its VAT threshold is pretty low. I think Patrick is just saying you can start something small or part time with £500 and grow it :) in the UK this is feasible

    • @tomekstarosta8056
      @tomekstarosta8056 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      You can open up a plc in the UK if you're a non resident for ~140gbp. Granted this only works if you're selling a service. I'm based in Poland and will be doing this next month as taxes here are fucking insane.

    Pat, let's do a real video talking about exactly what legal things you need, looking after the books, etc. Starting a business is super easy, but all the legal stuff, taxes, and red tape destroys your business just from worrying about it. You can lose everything and possibly go to jail for something simple like not signing the proper paper work.

There's so much more.

It cost me $90. Find something you can provide for people in need. I didn't carefully plan out what kind of squeegee to buy for my windows. I did basic research, and scrambled together the small amount of money I had and went and bought it. You can do that too.

      Do you need a “how to” to walk a dog or baby sit? He provided businesses you can do that don’t require a degree or a corporate background. A dog walking business is common sense-you walk the dog. When my daughter was in high school, she walked dogs & charge $25 per 🐕. She made more money walking dogs then working part time at a fast food restaurant.

If you don't have the work ethic and discipline to succeed in network marketing, chances are you won't either if you have your very own business.

Afterwards you can go door to door in your neighborhood, and ask your neighbors if they'd like to buy your service.

Although, you need several years to practice enough to where you can be smooth to charge $50 or more depending your experience with it. It’s very lucrative pay, but you need to know your market. I’m in Seattle where market for massage is great. Do find your niche as a LMP/LMT before you go thrive.
