Great tutorial. If you have a 3D printer that has two Z axis stepper motors do you need a splitter cable or is there another way to accomplish this. Thanks

The RAMPS 1.6 has two native connectors for Nema17. So you will only need one stepper for two Nema17.

I believe the cooling fan requires some explanation for RAMPS 1.6. I have a 3 pin cooling fan for the board. How do you think I can attach it? Thank you.

and of course i did connect it backward the first time, blew 5v voltage regulator on arduino and get spooked :P
fixing arduino took 5 minutes but that not connected microswitch pin that should be at the 5v side made me think why ramps boards don't have pulup resistors on 5v rail
