    Hello, is we need to map the column once. Or everytime when we upload a excel.

    • @KeaPointTechTips
      @KeaPointTechTips  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, if table name and column structure stays teh same then it should work with existing mapping.

      Thanks. the PowerApps table could have data source as collection . You can pass collection data form power automate to PowerApps. Check this community article techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/power-apps-power-automate/pass-collection-from-flow-to-powerapp-collection-data-comes-from/m-p/323618

    Hi there, thanks for this video, it's very helpful especially as I'm a beginner in Power Apps! I had a question though - could end users upload the excel data into the dataverse tables themselves or is there a way to automate this process? My app requires end users to be able to bulk import excel rows and I'm a bit lost on whats the best way to enable them to do this.. thanks for your help

    • @KeaPointTechTips
      @KeaPointTechTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can, using either the dataflows or using the power automate to read excel content and import data to dataverse table.

    • @evelynm2770

      @@KeaPointTechTips oh awesome, will definitely look into dataflows - i tried power automate but it was a bit slow

    Hi great video on exporting data from excel to cds and app! Just curious question .. I think you mentioned creating model driven app but it looks like canvas app. Did I miss anything

    • @KeaPointTechTips
      @KeaPointTechTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I think I said that by mistake, it is canvas app indeed.

    If there are formulas in the excel file is there an easy way to move that to data verse table ?

    • @KeaPointTechTips
      @KeaPointTechTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think there as an out of the box excel formula mapping available for Dataverse.

  • @Sunilprakashsabbithi
    @Sunilprakashsabbithi 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice explanation. Quick question. My excel file is having 30K records. So can i create table in Data verse and then create a power app form without delegation limit of 2000 ? Also need to search the records ?

    • @KeaPointTechTips
      @KeaPointTechTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can move 30k records to dataverse. You can search for record via powerapps as long as the result set is below 2k records.

    • @KeaPointTechTips
      @KeaPointTechTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If I understand your question, you can bring data from multiple excel files into PowerApps and perform the calculations on the fly.

    Hi Every one how to export the data from Excel To Sql data base using power automate could please guide me

    • @KeaPointTechTips
      @KeaPointTechTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      First you need to install on- rem data gateway to connect to sql via office 365 power platform. then you can probably write flow to copy data to sql.

    For some reason when I upload the excel file and want to map, the dataverse mechanic does not offer me to map several columns I have already made available. What might be the reason?

    You're creating a canvas app starting from dataverse data, that is not a model driven app.

      Yes, I used the wrong term while speaking. It is indeed model driven app. Someone else pointed it out in the past as well.
