Thanks. the PowerApps table could have data source as collection . You can pass collection data form power automate to PowerApps. Check this community article techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/power-apps-power-automate/pass-collection-from-flow-to-powerapp-collection-data-comes-from/m-p/323618
Hi there, thanks for this video, it's very helpful especially as I'm a beginner in Power Apps! I had a question though - could end users upload the excel data into the dataverse tables themselves or is there a way to automate this process? My app requires end users to be able to bulk import excel rows and I'm a bit lost on whats the best way to enable them to do this.. thanks for your help
Hi great video on exporting data from excel to cds and app! Just curious question .. I think you mentioned creating model driven app but it looks like canvas app. Did I miss anything
Nice explanation. Quick question. My excel file is having 30K records. So can i create table in Data verse and then create a power app form without delegation limit of 2000 ? Also need to search the records ?
Hii I was import my data in the datavarse table I was forgotten one field name while mapping I remember that field name after I will add that field but it didn't seen in that field in mapping time what I will do please help me
For some reason when I upload the excel file and want to map, the dataverse mechanic does not offer me to map several columns I have already made available. What might be the reason?
@@KeaPointTechTips thanks for the reply. I figured it out at the end. What I needed to do was make new columns in dataverse table with more unique names. Like customer age, customer job etc..
Hello friend. I keep getting this error and dunno know to solve it: ,"General error","Type=Microsoft.Dynamics.Integrator.Exceptions.IntegratorClientException, Msg=Unable to parse import file 10cc6bd55ee84c99b98002f5f939bec7.xlsx Error details PQOnline failure - Type=System.Net.WebException, Msg=The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request."
“400 Bad Request” is a general error that indicates that your browser sends a request to the website's server, and the server can't process or recognize the client request. Where this file is hosted?
Select another powerapps environment and try this again. You will find you can’t select an existing table. Why? I noticed your on the default environment.
Excellent

great vedio...
Q) How to export table data?
Q) How to run/export reports for customized columns?
you can export to excel from dataverse table.
Great! Could you tell me the dataverse vs sql ?
Are you planning to user Dataverse instead of SQL and looking for professional advice?
Hello, is we need to map the column once. Or everytime when we upload a excel.
Hi, if table name and column structure stays teh same then it should work with existing mapping.
Hello, nice video, can we automate insertion of data into power apps table through power automate? if yes then please share the video demo

Thanks. Let's say those records have images. How do you bring those imgnes from excel?
I have never tried that. I will add this topic to my to do video list.
@@KeaPointTechTips thanks, mi hermano.
Can I connect access front-end to dataverse as the back-end?
This is not possible I believe.
Looks like it will be possible, soon.

Yes you can, using either the dataflows or using the power automate to read excel content and import data to dataverse table.
@@KeaPointTechTips oh awesome, will definitely look into dataflows - i tried power automate but it was a bit slow
Hi great video on exporting data from excel to cds and app! Just curious question .. I think you mentioned creating model driven app but it looks like canvas app. Did I miss anything
Yes, I think I said that by mistake, it is canvas app indeed.
If there are formulas in the excel file is there an easy way to move that to data verse table ?
I don't think there as an out of the box excel formula mapping available for Dataverse.
Nice explanation. Quick question. My excel file is having 30K records. So can i create table in Data verse and then create a power app form without delegation limit of 2000 ? Also need to search the records ?
Yes, you can move 30k records to dataverse. You can search for record via powerapps as long as the result set is below 2k records.
I have multiple tables as one data source as Excel and we some calculations one table, is it possible do calculations and validation possible ?
If I understand your question, you can bring data from multiple excel files into PowerApps and perform the calculations on the fly.
@@KeaPointTechTips yes.
Hii

You have to map all fields in one go.
Hi Every one how to export the data from Excel To Sql data base using power automate could please guide me
First you need to install on- rem data gateway to connect to sql via office 365 power platform. then you can probably write flow to copy data to sql.
For some reason when I upload the excel file and want to map, the dataverse mechanic does not offer me to map several columns I have already made available. What might be the reason?
Can you email excel file (minus any confidential data) at aziz@keapoint.com, I will have a look.
@@KeaPointTechTips thanks for the reply.

Glad that were able to resolve it. Thanks for posting it here as this would help other people in the community .
the app you are creating at the end is canvas app not the model driven app
Thanks for the correction. much appreciated.

I have not tried with a different environment. Will try it soon.
@@KeaPointTechTips great! Keen to see if your getting the same issue.
You're creating a canvas app starting from dataverse data, that is not a model driven app.
Yes, I used the wrong term while speaking. It is indeed model driven app. Someone else pointed it out in the past as well.
