theres already another project by the community, called "Core X Most wanted" and they had some of the talented modders on there that reversed engineered the handling and most of the core elements from the speed engine onto the unity engine they used. its been a while since i used it
The only people who managed to get the handling physics exactly the same are the people from CXMW really looking forward to that project, i tried my best to tweak it as close i could but this is how far i got with default unreal engine chaos physics.

Amazing fact is that nfs rivals (frostbite 3) released in 2013 and unreal Engine 5 officially released in April 2022 but still nfs rivals visuals and environment stand strong even in 2024 which is super impressive.

The only thing I would change is to set straight cut transmission gears whine to depend on engine rpm instead of overall car speed. This would be way more realistic. I hope you have the willpower to complete this titanic project! Keep on keeping on!

I don't know in what way I could.contribute, but here's the only thing I can think of: a monospace font would get rid of this jumping effect on the speedo. They jump around like that because the numbers have different widths. Other than that, such a great initiative. Hats off.
That's some great work here. My suggestion now is for you to try following the original Art direction of the game as much as possible but using the advanced shaders and graphical features that UE5 has to offer. I would say in a similar manner to 2Unreal5Underground.
Four months ago I saw this same project in development, and seeing how it is now is great. The audio improved a lot and visually it also has some improvements, although obviously the audio could be improved a little more. Anyway, excellent work! I look forward to seeing how this project is completed

is my favorite from the franchise, and I still play, can you believe? I still have my PS3 and I let it plugged into my living room to my son, and he loves this "old game" and sometimes I play with him, I love this game!

I've been wanting this for a very long time, it's one of my favorite games EVER. I hope it sees the light of day. It's so stupid for them to not make their own remake. I hope this comes out.

There's a ton of turns that you should easily be able to get through even if you take a half decent line but you're having to brake

Yes that map is even more difficult to port and bigger also some textures are mixed and when porting it they don't transfer so it needs extra work not to mention the amount of materials that needs rework. And im using blueprints with the chaos vehicles
It feels true to the OG. So i dig it. If anything i'd like for the police chase to be less obnoxious than the OG cuz i hated it most of the time. The absurd cheating they pulled was crazy lol. Other than that most wanted 2005 was pretty good as it was

Hmmm, the sense of scale for the map seems slightly smaller than in the original. Because either the cars were smaller or the camera was panned out wider.
EA just needed to do that, nothing else, it doesn't need to touch gameplay aspects, vehicles, modify the map, nothing! just give us these graphics and it would still sell like hotcakes, gta triology is there to prove it.
The car jumped even more you can check the previous video this is improved version,change one setting you have to tweak the others too so it takes time because it physics based game.
would it be possible to create a map expansion ? hoping one day , we all could experience some of the concepts that the devs planned for the game that were cut.... well in the mean time, better to finish the base game first
The graphics are amazing, but one of the reasons why I like the old NFS parts and don't like the new ones is the car physics. And here you can see that with the amazing graphics we get this miserable physics again, when the car either goes into a drift whether it's necessary or not, or drives like a train on which it is impossible to turn normally...

Frostbite is stupid when it comes to speed. Feels like there's a layer of ice between the road and the tyres.

As a true to the original, this is amazing. But I'd love some modern physics. A Most Wanted police chase simulator would be epic fun
It looks good, but i think moving the nitro bar (and speedbreaker bar once implemented) above the speedo would be much more convenient

I think it still looks a lot yellow for a modern game. Other than that, great work!
Fix the suspension so that the car doesn't jump too much, which makes it unstable when going too fast, however the gameplay feels great.
