So Terence McKenna did hit the nail on the head somehow
Wiki: McKenna saw the universe, in relation to novelty theory, as having a teleological attractor at the end of time,[5] which increases interconnectedness and would eventually reach a singularity of infinite complexity. He also frequently referred to this as "the transcendental object at the end of time."[5][7] When describing this model of the universe he stated that: "The universe is not being pushed from behind. The universe is being pulled from the future toward a goal that is as inevitable as a marble reaching the bottom of a bowl when you release it up near the rim.

A long long time ago I married an actress in Las Vegas. We had been living together for a year but this was still a spontaneous decision. I vividly remember the moment, over 30 years ago, when it was my turn to say "I Do"... every cell in my body was screaming, screaming NO, DO NOT DO THIS. It was the most unique and powerful sensation I had ever felt. I did not listen, said "I Do" and it was the single worst decision in my life, the consequences were devastating. I've often thought about that moment, that sensation and am convinced it was a future version of me reaching back to warn the then present version of me. But I didn't listen. At that moment I felt as if trapped in the middle of a swift and powerful current that had carried me to that place in that time and I could not get out. Now, today, I am left wondiering if, in a many worlds paradigm, I did listen, was able to escape the current... and how did that life unfold. Difficult to reconcile determinism with Free Will and other forces, yet to be discovered, after that experience.

Very simple. All time exists NOW. You can never escape the NOW, as a continuous now of unfoldment of creation. To think of past and/or future you are always thinking of it in the NOW, and thus bringing them both through the use of your imagination (and the neuron's firing of the brain know of no difference). So when you want to change who you are in the present, you can actively shift yourself to become a new person by IMAGINING a new past/new future, and thus you are that person, having shifted into a new (yet seemingly similar) space-time; in accordance to the limit of your belief-system and it's relevance to your over-all blueprint of reality.

I have honestly experienced retrocausality. When I was a preteen I had a dream about my future self. I remembered the lighting of the room, and what I looked like. I guessed my age, so I assumed the dream was me 12 years later. When I was 6 years older I was in a motel with some friends, and I caught myself looking in the mirror and remembered the dream in that instant, that moment, I knew I was communicating with my younger self within the dreamscape in the mirror's reflection. When I dream, I think they are just that but I also have vivid dreams, and when I have these dreams, I call them dream worlds. I feel like they are actual places different than this reality. I have had many dreams that I believe to be predictive. A sad one has already come to pass. It predicted the future over a span of time, so it predicted something that happened to me 10 years later up until the 15 years later... But yeah, I have for sure experienced retrocausality at least one. So weird communicating with your past self in reality through a dreamscape.

I have a neighbor couple, we are friendly but rarely talk or see each other, so not close. But friendly. Twice, about two years after they moved in, this happened. I would think of something out of nowhere to tell the husband, and so I sent him a text. In that instant after pressing send, I mean a fraction of a second, way too fast to be a reply, a text from him arrived, with a question to which I had just sent the answer. And the order and time of texts in the chain were a record proving it happened. It happened twice over about a year, then never again.

You do know this is the sort of associations schizophrenics make? :) To be serious, it doesn't work in any other language, so what claims are you making about the universality of the (fairly) recently evolved modern English language? On a trip once I came up with Evolution= (K)no(w) it U: Love, which is nice and trite but hardly the basis for a metaphysics of much descriptive complexity. And another thing, echos are caused by past events, because if the first event didn't precede the echo it wouldn't be CALLED an echo anymore than someone speaking to me directly is an "echo". Anyway, have a good day, obviously.

This is anecdotal but I was on a goenka vipassana meditation retreat back in February where cause and effect seemed to reverse. This was not a long or intensive retreat for me. I was observing sensations in the body and becoming very concentrated at this time in the retreat what some refer to as the “fine material realm”. I noticed that my awareness was generating the sensations themselves and at some point, I was ahead of my skies as it were, creating the whole experience from a kind of nowhere place. The transcendent experience itself was being constructed and drug forward in time by some kind of Devine desire. This was not a pleasurable experience or anything, It was scary and confusing and I had to take a walk and settle down. I’m still unclear as to the value of this insight, it leaves you nowhere without any ground to cling to.

I wish I could pinpoint the theological side that he mentioned in the beginning. The idea is that God lives in the Past, Present, and Future simultaneously. Any action undertaken by the Divine Will contains its effect: Creation, Redemption, and Sanctification are actually one action. But for us we experience it in time & space. Therefore (for us) Faith is an essential mentality for those who cannot see the effects of Divine Causation but only experience one effect at a time. In fact, there is a saying that "God restores your lost years". Pointing out the miraculous testimony of people aging in reverse, regenerating lost abilities (healings), and regaining childlike qualities when in a state of sanctifying grace.

    • @heofthebee
      @heofthebee 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Sanctification is like an accreditation of Divine God-stuff. It is a reflective existence without start or end.
Strangely the future determines the past. We are passing through an illusion of Eternal Mirrors that create
the Reflective reality that we cannot escape. To escape, would be to collapse our existence and being. Escape is not
possible because the reflective State forms us and is us. ie. We exist in the mind of the great Pan-intelligence that
is all that is. I am that I am.

Things were going wrong with me, like karma was hitting me. i asked myslef if i was doing something wrong, I didn't, then i delve into this idea that what if im getting karma for something i will do in future, my brain showed me events that justified this theory, like soem murderers before becoming one go through trauma or extreme struggles, it's clear indication that they were paying for something they would do in future. I get it, this theory falls short when looking from a different perspective(that if im getting karma than inevitablly i will commit something bad in future) but its some sort of a paradox that i would some condition to (if you don't do something bad in future than its not a karma rather it was just struggle necessary for your growth) Listen i used to do certain stuff and i used to constantly get pain and anxiety even before doing it, now I'm n9t doing anything bad(im super disciplined) and I'm also n9t getting any pain or anxiety, it just points at this paradox for me( that its truth, try to apply it to your situation and share)

    'Reality' is a state-machine.
The present is merely the current 'state' of the machine.
As all state-machines, one state progresses to the next in a linear fashion according to a set of rules.
The 'stuff' of reality is the storage mechanism of the state (information theory).
ONLY the present state exists as it as stored in this 'stuff'.
The reality state machine utilizes many probability/Bayesian/shortcut algorithms (similar to video games) to calculate the updates between states.
Unlike our intuition, the 'present' state of the machine has some "thickness", likely due to the state of the machine updating in a rolling fashion, as opposed to all at once.
This essentially means that there is a rolling window of 'moments' that are the 'present' (though this terminology doesn't really fit).
The more distant the 'moment', the less 'resolution', and the more 'shortcuts' are used to store it.
The more shortcuts, the less "solid" the 'past' and the less "solid" the 'future' moments become.
This is where the many-worlds interpretation gets it right, as due to the 'thickness' and 'shortcuts' there are multiple 'futures' and 'pasts' which could resolve into the 'present', all of which are 'real': the system doesn't care which is 'real/true' as they equally resolve and remain roughly consistent.
    QBism gets this part correct.
The realists are also correct, in that one can think of the 'present state' as that which is currently stored in the 'stuff' as 'collapsed'.
The photon can be both a wave and a particle due to the fact that the measurement, when checked, is in the 'past', which doesn't exist except as a more distant part of the 'thickness' of the 'present' and is thus subject to the 'shortcuts', as only the 'stuff' is available for storage of the current 'state'.
The 'thickness' is not uniform, and extends precisely to the point at which the data is needed to render the 'present' as roughly consistent, and as soon as the data is not needed, is discarded and no longer exists/is no longer in the 'thick present'.
Not my analogy, but think of the 'thickness' as the currently burning portion of a cigarette, it exists and progresses forward but is not a "slice" as we currently think of 'the present".
The past does not exists, and is in flux, and will readjust itself based on the specific "measurements" made, across time and space, such that the measurements remain consistent.
    The future is similarly adjusted.
All of the above is rambling gobblygook that you are unlikely to find enlightening or useful, thanks for watching.

Only observer of this video cassette can witness the change of timeline in the movie. But I believe that our mind doesn't create illusions, but actually sees the quantum reality. And the physical reality is in fact an illusion (wave function collapse happens only when observed. Collapse happens because of our disbelief and inability to see reality, for example we don't believe that a particle can travel through both slits at once). Also, this physical illusion is subjective (see Wigner's friend paradox), so that really, there is no moon, when I don't look at it.

If you want to know the future, just look at the past because everything seems to be quantitative of a very basic polarized function? Plus is subconscious or something like it designed to expect common functions/know the future ? Basically all functions past present and future remain to be the one basic polarized function and so if its is the same moment it doesn't matter where or when in space time it is. It only seems different because of niche forms built from the same basic function. The more things change, the more you realize its the same function

@@OGgiirl If we assume retrocausality is real (present affects the past, or future affects the present), and that quantum particles are not particles but continuous waves that collapse only when giving out information to a conscious observer. Then we can confidently say that everything in this universe is solid matter or a discrete packet of energy only because it was observed (or interacted with) at any point in time, and it will cascade back in time to the beginning of the universe.
So basically this universe has an origin (big bang) because there are conscious things in it to observe it. And the conscious beings are here because the universe created them. It is like a 4D yin yang.

If all things exist as a wave before it’s measured then perhaps the act of measuring affects the wave both the forward and reverse time scale.
Meaning that the wave has no perception of time until measured in time, but this act is like a ripple travelling back on the wave, could cause an amplification.

  • @hercolorfulmind

Yes retrocausality exists but there is reason to believe that the uptick of time anomalies represents the underlying reason. More people are time jumping and looping - each person represents an observer and even when they believe they did nothing, their very observation of the anomaly affects life at the particle level.

    1) Time is not linear. We only perceive it as linear in our material plane to have this particular human experience.
    2) All is mind. You manifest your reality through decision making (cause) and their natural effects. It’s not hard to understand. For instance, two people need a job. One person writes up a resume and goes to businesses to apply for work, while the other sits on the sofa taking bong hits and watching TV. Which one is more likely to have the positive effect of getting a job?

Human storage of time (as memory) is on a linear. Hence the perception.

It seems simplistic but the metaphor of time as a flow or current suggests a vector of flow. So just like the concept of alternating current the flow works like Ocean tides ebbing and rising at various times. So the perception of time aligns with uni- vector flow like a river, but the reality of time is it is an Ocean with tides that circulate like an electrical circuit. Therefore future and past are just vectors. The minute you measure something you take a snapshot in time. The way to envision the issue is you are trying to comprehend something that is too vast for the scope to get an accurate read. As you drill down your object of inquiry no longer becomes the focus or scope of observation. By measuring your focus becomes a piece of the whole or a hole in the whole. It means as you measure you change the scope of focus. The act of focusing reduces the field of observation. You aren't looking at the whole checkerboard anymore, you have shifted the focus from X to 1/10 X or 10X. So this is the source of the effect.
The same go for any observation that you place values or qualities on. You shift planes of focus. For instance you build a graph of the 3Dimensions you feel you can see. X is Time traditionally, Y becomes Volume or Quantity, and Z are layers of Qualities. As you observe the X access goes both forward and backward. When we go to observe we see in 2D along a specific pair of values in an area of 1 of the 3 planes of dimension. So the observer is typically considered stationary for the purpose of observation ( Zero Point or Point of Origin of the observer). The observer sees the observation as a snapshot because he assumes the measurement is stuck in the flow of time as he has continued forward. The relationship of the point of origin shifts while the snapshot does not. But the snapshot is one plane so 2Dimemsions, the observer is in a movie though not a still photo so he continues to flow. Every frame of the movie or each snap shot is placed on the continuum as a set point. Measuring confines the observed, but the observed is a process. The issue is you see this as static because you have a snapshot. But you can't step in the same river twice. So the snapshot defines a moment by assigning relevance based on past observation. When you watch more of the movie that snap shot or scene morphs in the relevance contingent on the movies end. If you observe a scene in the Wizard of Oz as just a snapshot of Dorothy and Toto at the beginning she is a nice kid in a dull place with a little dog. Nice but not exactly the launching point for all that comes after it. By the time you get to the Emerald City the original observation still may stand but now it has shifted because the movie continued and shifted the context of the observation. So it is actually the Zero point's focus that shifts broader. The scope of what was originally observed has additional information that thereby shifts the context of the past.
The issue isn't time, it is focused attention and scope of the measurement. Also the scale you use reduces the whole so the act of observing effects context and conclusions.
Basically measuring, ruling etc are Cartisian methods. DeCartes, Newton and Science in general tries to look at whole things as a sum of the parts which is reductionist. We live in a field of infinite potential in the quantum world so the observed in that context does not require cause to become effect. That is a binary yes/no way to observe. Measuring throws a ring around a segment which isolates it from context. That isolated context often contradicts the original observation of the segment of the construct. When it does the future adjusts the past. It's the fact you are measuring that distorts the observed. In this effect the presumption of linear time breaks down and time becomes a Vortex on either direction from the observer. At the Zero Point Time is a spiral that as we look past spins counterclockwise and as we look future spins clockwise. The vortices expand out as more scope is considered so the field shifts due to not considering the effect of the funneling of scope does to the observational field.

So way back then, those critters would have to have changed to waves, anticipating the time billions of years into the future when they would be observed.

I love to go out a dark winter night and watch the Andromeda galaxy, knowing that by observing it, I force a wave collapse of those photons already from the start of their travel, 2.5 million years ago! It's fun to re-write history 😆
