THIS is so fun to watch.... 🤗💕 as a self-aware curricula junkie... seriously appreciate it all... there's just so many learning possibilities w/ all the resources available these days. What an amazing blessing to be able to mix it up when we need to.... to be able to plan, budget and provide for our children.. one of life's greatest joys as a homeschooling parent...
When I was in 8th grade, back in the late ‘70’s, we did book studies for LA the whole school year. I’ve never forgotten that class, it was my favorite of all time. I also had a high school class like that, I believe it was 10th grade, I loved that one as well. They did integrate some grammar here and there.
Good to know they teach cursive! I do not like writing in cursive. Ever. But I’m glad I learned it/learned to read it, so I want my kids to learn as well.
That bubble wrap is TOTALLY a Barbie pool! haha. PS: with the spiral TGTB books, I get soft yarn and weave the spiral together so it doesn't fall apart and it lasts all year for us! Try it! game changer!
Let me tell you that this is the BEST open and go curriculum! It really is beautiful too 😍 I thought that bubble wrap was so cool too 😂I was like what can I use THIS for?!? 🤗 Happy to see you are in good spirits ❤
We did tgtb l.a. last year for pre school, 3rd, 6th and 7th and wow we love it! This year we are purchasing a printer so it will be free for upcoming years. ❤
My daughter did very very well using the spelling book for level 3. Alsi the readers are amazing! I got emotional during every book in a very good way❤ i cant wait to go through that grade again with my youngest.
We LOVE CLE! But, also hit a wall with it with one of my kids and TGATB is what we got for him to try too since the scope and sequences are similar. Will you be doing flip throughs of the science's? I am super interested in those too!
Thank you! You know what…this is actually a black Lularoe dress! Thrifted! But I would love a top that fits like this one. I agree it’s hard to find a good black tee!
How do you keep “grades” for your 10th grader with the good and beautiful language arts? I love the good and the beautiful but I find it hard to keep grades where there isn’t regular quizzes or Tests. At least not for the 6th grade or 7th grade levels.
At the moment…I am not working outside the home. God has provided in some ways that I’m able to do at home…it’s still a possibility, but for now we might be ok 😊
@@ourthriftyhomeschool I'm not sure it is so innocent sadly, as it is exact. It is called the Lion Paw. Mormonism is very much connected to Freemasonry. The founder Joseph Smith was an occultist and Freemason. A few years ago when I looked at the curriculum I was made aware of subtle yoga poses in the LA. Thanks for responding, the curriculum looks pretty but I think I'll stick with CLE and use Master Books for science. God bless you 🙂

That’s awesome! You’re right, it could actually be a really good thing! ❤️
We did lifepac and they also had 10 workbooks and my daughter loved that❤. It was like small achievements each time we got a new workbook😊

Love TGATB! Totally random….love your basic black tee shirt….what brand is it? Always hunting for good fitting solid basics.

We are not Mormon either and we love TGTB;)

So, how is it going since you switched from CLE to TGATB? We also love CLE, but i have contemplated added some color just in the area of LA.
Yay!! 🎉
I wemt and placed an order for 8 bible books from Christian light for my boys! Thank you!
Yay! I hope you have a great year with it! ❤️
Rejoicing with you that you can homeschool this year. ❤

How will your homeschool work with you going back to work

Are you not using CLE?
I am for some things! But we’re using TGTB for language this year.
I had a CLE unboxing Monday. 😁
@@ourthriftyhomeschool It would be great to see how they compare 🙂
At 5:11 on the video can I ask the context of the picture please? It looks like a Masonic handshake.
@@VW777it’s an art project that teaches them how to sketch hands. Nothing to read into. 😊
