    Hi Nat , longtime subscriber here 😊. And I also happen to be a full-time Nomad off-grid guy. Ok so your screen setup , there's a simple solution I've used on numerous occasions. I buy long strips of velcro material and outline around the doors & windows, vents etc... but I go one step further and buy the magnetic screen material. The division strip in the middle automatically snaps shut when they meet . Its a pretty ingenious design , wish I would have invented it 😂. Super cheap & simple to install. One bit of advice boondocker to boondocker, install your inverter . You'll be happy you did , but I always have secondary power sources. Really enjoy your videos , you stay on topic with the facts 😊. Thats very informative and refreshing. Be safe & enjoy the journey.

    Ive been on the fence of what do as for camper.. I thought of just doing a cargo-conversion, but I find theres a lot of A- frame campers out there, sooo.. Coming from a tent , anything is a upgrade.. And like you mentioned, smaller means less drag 😁😁. I do have a Bluetti AC200P power station & 600w of solar, so I'm good there. Thanks for your video's, safe travels and God Bless...

    Hi Nat. Love your camper. For the door screen. I'm assuming that your door frame is aluminum so a magnet wouldn't work but why not adhere small thin pieces of metal, 1/4" x 1/2" long, at various places along the frame with double sided tape/adhesive then add magnets to the screen that would hold the screen to those pieces of metal? Just a thought. Looking forward to your new adventures.

    I don't know if your fur baby's like ice...some do..some dont...but I can tell ya that the KNDKO portable ice maker is a must for me. It is 120V and pulls 178 watts when making ice and nothing when full. You can use it temporary to make some ice and turn it off too. You don't have to use a big water jug on top either...just fill with some water by hand. Having ice on hand to help the fur baby's or yourself with a cold beverage or ice pack to cool down or ice an injury is worth it's weight in gold to me. I have one and it's definitely going in my conversion. God Bless...Stay safe

    I bought the same lucid 10in hybrid twin for my murphy bed and luv that mattress. I was wondering about the microwave because I have enuff room for either a microwave or large air fryer/oven. I think the air fryer is gonna win because it has more uses. I don't know how your making it without A.C. in AZ! Your red cheeks show the discomfort a bit. Looks like some bigger mud flaps are in order for keeping from trashing up the front of your trailer with mud. I'd be headed for higher elevation and cooler temps....but I may be allergic to hot hot temps. I picked up the dual fuel (gas/propane) generator for backup A.C. power because I didn't want to carry gas cans in my tow vehicle or trailer...and propane doesn't go bad like gas either. Good job...God Bless...Stay Safe

    • @NatMoran
      @NatMoran  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had a love hate relationship with that mattress at first. My body was so stiff and sore the first couple weeks, but we've adjusted and I really like it now. For the price, it's pretty goof.
      I might have to look into an air fryer. I know they pull some power, but it's only for a short amount of time.
      We didn't last long. I totally packed up the next day and sought cooler Temps! Lol the gas cans are why I haven't bought the generator yet. When I can afford it, I'd love to upgrade my rear bumper so I can have some gas cans.

    Do you have a shower tent? When you shower in the boondocks? How about portable toilet? No stabilizing jacks in the front?Thanks

    • @NatMoran
      @NatMoran  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I stabilize the front through the tongue jack. It doesn't move when it's all secured (even with the dogs jumping in and out). I used to have a shower tent but i wasn't a fan. No toilet. I usually dig a cat hole or find pit toilets along the way.

    Hi Nat !!! What would you guesstimate your annual cost to live your lifestyle, gas insurance, food, payment for camp spots, everything etc etc ?? It has to be cheaper tan owning a house with property taxes & utilities and all ?!?!

    • @NatMoran
      @NatMoran  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I might need to put together a spreadsheet to be able to answer that.
      Typically, I spend about 80$ on gas every week or two (depending on how much I drive). I don't stay in campgrounds often, but lately, it's been more frequent. I try to boondock to save money. I'd say it's way cheaper than having a house. However, I still have 2 years left on my 4Runner, so that's a hefty payment (5 years @3% interest). Food is definitely expensive, I spend about 100 a week on groceries. I can put together a video that's way more detailed, but off hand, those are my big expenses.

    I love all of it, Nat! You really sound so happy now, I’m so glad this camper is working out, and that you are getting better mileage than with the other small one you had for that short time! I know why we get along so well. I love the mountains, the water and the trees. That’s where I picture myself when I have land.

    Great tour! When you hook up to any water source you should have at least a in-line water filter and a pressure regulator. You don’t want to get bacteria or other nasty stuff contaminating your water. Also some campgrounds or any public water hookup may have high pressure and it will hurt your waterlines. Use a power surge protector for your shore power, protect your electrical things.

    • @NatMoran
      @NatMoran  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great advice. I actually dont ever hook up to that line. I learned I wasn't a fan of that approach when I had the truck camper. I only fill the external tank. I also haven't cleaned the lines or tank since I purchased the camper used, so I don't drink the water anyway. I'll use an external 6gal jug and purify my water thru a couple different systems to stay safe. I 100% don't want any nasty bacteria lol.
      I'll look into the power surge! Thank you for this information. 😊

    How do you decide the destinations you are going to when you start your travel? How long do you travel every year?

    • @NatMoran
      @NatMoran  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't really have an agenda. I usually go where I want to see. Lately. I've been working, so that's helped me pick places to go. I've found a way to get paid doing what I love, so that's a welcomed change! Typically, I move locations every 3-5 days.
