The old feller has collected all these parts and he's just letting them go to ruins. He doesn't seem like he's got much time to finish all these projects!
Nice finds. That 69 Cornet R/T convertible reminded me of my Uncle's 69 Cornet R/T hardtop 440 4 barrel automatic B5 Blue with a black vinyl top. He sold it in 2010. Man I miss that car. At least my Uncle kept his 70 Challenger R/T convertible 383 automatic car. He sold the Cornet R/T to build a 63 Fury Max Wedge clone car.
I knew a used car dealer like that. But he didn't keep all his stuff outside. Everything was Chrysler Plymouth Dodge late 60s early 70s and he had a complete little red truck 1979 that he had inside it was beautiful. He had a Chevrolet Malibu setup for drag racing cuz he never got a good title for it. He'd drive it but he had to put his Iowa dealers plate on it. The gentleman that owns all of this seems to be a Mopar fan. Looking at what he has some of that stuff is still good he's got a whole rear clip on that convertible.
I wonder if people realize just how expensive it is to restore an automobile that is this far gone? Like really? Having done a running "E" body in early 2000 and being a mechanic myself (but not a body man) spent 65K.
I regret selling my 70 challenger T/A numbers matching original everything except the 4sp trans was not original it was hemi trans. 3 build sheets with it. Is that green TA for sale?
@@AutoArchaeology If it can that Plymouth should be saved & restored. I'm sure TV & movie companies would love to use it for, e.g. a drama set during that time.
I'd love to find a 72 duster 340 if you know anyone who has one. Looking for a fixer in good/decent condition. It is a dream of mine to replicate my dads 72 duster he had to sell
Nice junk yard, the question is, when they are reassembled are the VIN #'s matching for the body's? If not , and when sold may cause legal problems with the D.O.T. and moter vehicle,. And the law, Getting a title may be an issue. Use caution when buying folks, I've seen ppl get jailed .. law thinking it was bought from a chop shop... doors, trunk lids frame and dash vin's not matching. Wrong parts from other vehicles installed. Just tossing caution to the wind.

Thankfully most of it got sold, so he only has a handful on hand anymore.
Great to see these collections. You cover these collections top to bottom
I try!
Nice to see he took good care of those cars this is why there’s nothing left because of people that destroys shit like this
These were most likely saved from the crusher. Lots of good parts there.
If it weren't guy's like this these cars would be long gone nobody wanted Mopars. I know i drove a 70 383 4spd Cuda to High School in 1987.

It's a quonset hut...built in quonset rhode island by the Seabees at all quonset point navel station...like in gomer pile.
Danny better get going with that resto....just sayin.
So finally he is selling. No thanks. The money to restore these is astronomical. Most people have no clue of the expense and work involved.
Lots of rat rods
Do you know how much he wants for those 71 RR fenders? Got a buddy in need of those. I met you at MCACN.
No idea, you can email the guy. His info is in the description
@@AutoArchaeology the email doesn't work

Yes, thankfully all dashes and such match the appropriate cars.
So is he selling the rt vert?
No, that's one he kept. He's going to restore it.
@@AutoArchaeology no he's not... It's going to rot into the ground while he 'collects parts' for it.
@@Tumbleweed_Tx LOL.. And then there was the one about the traveling salesman......
Where are you located in Arkansas.
I'm not in Arkansas. The cars used to be there.
All those so called I'm gonna restore cars will be still sitting there 10 years form now.
They have already moved on to new homes to be restored.
4:10..someone's been drinking.
Looked like a yard full of garbage and rust
Nah
@@AutoArchaeology yea I know. It's a starting point for some poor bastard like me but willing to put the elbow and money in it
Dude i kno this guy he used be friends with my dad i was looking an was like i been to this house
parts
The owner doesn't have enough money to pay his electric bill, let alone restore anything, even after selling them all except 4.
I think he'll be ok.
WANT A CAR LIKE THIS OR A PLASTIC JUNKER THESE DAYS OR A EV CAR?
