The BBC is supposed to be impartial or give a balanced argument. Konstantin is brought in to stand against the weaponized empathy of the woke and the panel of bobble heads supporting them, on almost any topic. Reason and logic tend to make for great clips, and he is very good at reminding people they don't have a monopoly on truth and virtue.

    • @jamesportrais3946

Pure logic, I love Konstantin - my S/E Asian wife (mid 50's) squinted at him and asked: "Why does he look like that?"
      "Russian Jew"
"Oh" then sauntered off - I thought I might need to flesh it out a little, but apparently not; that was sufficient to understand why I'm blonde-haired & steel eyed yet he speaking alarmingly like me looks so differing. Bravo dear wife, a simplistic view of racial traits wins out.
If anyone hasn't visited Triggernometry, it's about time you did; funny f*cksters Konstantin & Francis do genuine diligence with great guests.
      Bravo KK!!

@serpentines6356 yes, similar. Surrounded by those who will not tolerate me saying anything that is against the current woke trend. Known them over ten years, but I must chant the mantra (I'm in local acapella choirs, one I no longer attend because of the songs). Add Bret Weinstein & Heather Heying (scientists) to the list. Benjamin A Boyce (interviwer), Peter Boghossian, Heather Pluckrose & James Lindsay (philosophers & thinkers).

People in the West want to hear this stuff, but it's not true. Just look at the unmatched numbers of people massacred in the Americas so that you can steal their land, what you did to the indigenous peoples of Australia, Palestine, Africa etc etc, WW1, WW2, etc etc, besides the decomposition of the family in your societies to understand why the rest of the world is moving away from your rotten values. As to freedom of expression, we can see it clearly in universities against pro-Palestinian students today. You are getting emigrants because you have made life so bad in their countries with your wars, colonisation, toppling governments, stealing their resources, spreading corruption etc etc etc.

Their diction, their vocabulary, their eloquence - all without any notes or teleprompter - is a pleasure to behold. So glad to live in an age where we can watch their videos on YT. Do I agree with them 100%? No. No one is perfect. But I agree with them 95% of the time because they make sense. How refreshing compared to other hacks who throw around words like "genocide", "generational trauma", "racism", "equity", "hate speech", etc. with not a single logical thought supporting those academic-sounding phrases.

Curious that KK mentioned property and ownership being protected from theft was an aspect which fueled innovation, because in the UK and USA both governments authorities actively no longer ask our police prevent theft and catch criminals, restore stolen items unless you are personally one of the super rich. Have your 7 11 full of shoplifting gangs the police ignore what's going on, the shop closes down. Be a celebrity who have a watch worth a grand stolen from your wrist and you have gangs of plain clothes police seeking to entrap the thieves into stealing a bling watch.

That is an Eurocentric view that has little to do with reality.
Black theft is peanuts compared to white theft, let's say, the former steals hundreds of millions of USD worth goods annually, but the latter steals tens of trillions of USD worth goods annually, that is a ratio perhaps for every 1 USD worth goods stolen by blacks, whites steal 100 000 USD worth of goods. How do whites steal ? Well, they use sophisticated methods, like manipulation of interest rates, manipulation of commodity prices, manipulation of the global financial system they control, etc.

That guy is a shallow person, no surprise being a newcomer to West and not in advanced age.
What is his explanation why so many millions migrated from then West (Europe) to regions populated by people of color, like Americas, Africa and Asia ? Also, Westerners are the biggest immigrants of all times. If Western societies are so inventive, why did they copy nearly everything from people of color, like architecture, music instruments, law, social order, medicine, etc ?
Really, that guy is Eurocentric, shallow and doesn't know what he is talking about. Whether he likes it or not, Eurocentrism and Western culture have no chance against Afrocentrism, Sinocentrism, Hinducentrism, etc that are now spreading fast.

23:03 Excellent! Just brilliant. This part, with the Islanders building radio towers out of bamboo and expecting to be able to communicate is sad, though. Marching up and down the landing strips like they'd seen the soldiers do? 😢😢 They didn't understand the complexities of modern Innovation and just copied what they had seen, the parts the understood, which was visual and not more. Anyway, it made me sad thinking about it. I agree 100% with Kisin. It's true that few westerners actually understand "reality", although he didn't use that word. Also pointing out that people aren't trying to leave western countries on rickety boats, but people from other nations do it to come here every day.

This business about "victim" thinking is so odd. It sounds like one of those "think positive" mantras that are the staple of training in sales techniques.
The actual classics of the West, like Plato or the Bible, always hold the victim of injustice as the moral superior of the perpetrator of injustice. In Gorgias, Socrates says being the perpetrator is far worse than being the victim, even though the victim suffers more pain -- because the perpetrator exceeds everyone in evil. The Book of Job agrees. Toni Morrison always said she was taught at an early age that she was the moral superior of anyone who discriminated against her. She never flinched. Her father taught her that.
If you worry about not being a "victim," you're still thinking about it.

Konstantin's take on people busting down the doors to get in to the US (and a few other western countries) is exactly right. In fact, I often ask those who whine and bitch about the US being a land of oppression "then why do you also advocate for millions of poor people, who you say WILL be oppressed when they arrive here, why do you not stand at the southern border and try to PREVENT them from entering?" Go to the border and greet them with your protest signs that say "Stop! You are making the biggest mistake of your lives! Go back home where you are safer! Please! I beg of you! You don't know what you are doing!" WHY???????

There is one reason and one reason only for anyone at any level to immigrate to another Country. That reason is Opportunity. Different people, at different levels, seek different forms of Opportunity. Those who seek LEGAL immigration tend to be seeking the Opportunity to build a better life for themselves and their families. Yes, they COULD build that better life right there in the Nation they were born in. But that tends to involve a lot of risk. It's easier, and safer to just pack up and move than it is to buck the current system. Those who seek ILLEGAL immigration are also seeking opportunity. But the Opportunity they seek is to attain the one thing that no amount of work, or risk, would ever get for them in the Nation they were born. That is a Free Ride. Welfare. A higher standard of living for little or even no effort.

(ok, maybe I can get the idea that "freedon of speech" is decreasing now because of all this woke culture and people tend to be "correct" to these minorities), but why he says that people in the west can't speak and be proud of capitalism and government by consent? Can somebody explain it to me please?
