I also have Seagate maybe 1 tb and it also crashed but it repaired.
@Shariq brother, salam from Melbourne. You should look at Crashplan, if you care about your data and don't want to be in same situation again. Alternatively, Google Drive, One Drive etc also are options.
My bad, Crashplan stopped accepting new home customers. Use Backblaze, which comes highly recommended by my colleagues. Works on Mac too!

Why didn't you try recovering the data yourself? There are so many recovery softwares available.

Seagate is worst.... WD is way batter... but you should buy SSD rather than buying simple external HDD, yes it also happnened with me 5 years ago my seagate HDD got crashed and i have lost almost all my important data, all my graphic work, illustations and storyboards but i have to move on same like you... tough luck boy... 🙄
