exactly what jenson button said that lewis is aggressive with the steering but consistent with the throttle/brakes, whilst jenson kept the steering constant but modulating the throttle/brakes
Tbf Hamilton tailored his style to the Pirelli’s to be much smoother on the steering. Extremely adaptable driver to different balances of car. The last two year though he’s not been great in qualy as the current car hasn’t enabled him to brake late which is probably his one requirement to be on his A game
A lot of drivers change their driving style depending on the tires they are using, the grooved tyres of the 2000s were hard and very critical to warm up, that's why you see drivers having more aggressive stearing, meanwhile moderns tyres are very soft and warm up more easily, thats why drivers now are very smooth in their stearing movements.
Pretty sure this is the opposite though? With a smoother driving style, you should have less pedal modulation/ smoother pedal inputs, wouldn’t you? Because if you have more pedal modulation, you change the way the car behaves/constantly change the weight transfer with the brakes. By doing this, you’d have to make a lot more micro adjustments, change your line, and overall be more aggressive. If you take an aggressive steering approach but use less pedal modulation, it kinda makes it worse since it just causes the car to understeer since you’re not using the brake pedal to press the front of the car down, but you’re using more steering input which would scrub the fronts? Also, if you look at some of michael schumacher’s telemetry from the early 2000’s, with his aggressive driving style, there’s a lot more pedal modulation.
With a smooth driving style, you can't have smooth brake and throttle inputs if you are on the optimal slip angle of the car (the limit). You can have smooth steering, put manipulate the weight transfer to be on the limit by modulating the pedals. Jenson is an example of this. On the other hand, with an aggressive style you can be aggressive on both the pedals and steering but that usually upsets the balance too much (goes over the limit). So typically aggressive drivers would try not to upset the weight transfer too much on the pedals and stay on the limit by steering inputs. A bit hard to explain..
@@WolfeF1Explained Well that should be the opposite, if you manipulate the weight transfer by modulating the pedals, it causes the car to be more agile, requiring a more active and aggressive driving style. If you’re aggressive without modulating the pedals, it becomes useless as you’re just scrubbing the fronts.
@@WolfeF1Explained A more aggressive style would be a more exponential steering graph, which requires more pedal modulation, whereas a smoother style is more linear, and the pedal modulation is also smoother, more linear. You can see it pretty clearly by looking at telemetry
@@WolfeF1Explained You can easily go into assetto corsa, and try to drive aggressively, but with no pedal modulation, you can hear the fronts scrubbing.
Someone teach me how to split axis, my pedals are tied to same axis and i cant fken find a way around it have to drive miserable shaky sbinella .ive tried everything, vjoy is too complex, x360ce don’t work and config change also doesn’t work, I can’t trail brake, i wanted to assign button instead because of this but cant do it either fak me lief, im a whole ass S slower than i was on a 180*rotation cheap wheel w degen pedals.
Not sure about how to use this wheel, but for mine, instead of plugging the pedals to the wheel, I plugged the wheel to the pc alone and the pedals to the pc on their own as well. I believe I had your same problem and I was able to fix it by doing that. Whether or not it will work for yours, I'm not sure. Hope it works out, God Bless.

Yeah :) Jenson's uniquely smooth compared to most drivers.
While im agressive in every aspect when playing the game and become slower😂😂

Yeah, thats right. See Fernando alonso's Renault onboard compared to Aston today. Massive difference.
Can u make an analisys of Kimi Raikkonen driving style? He was the fastest driver I ever seen in 2003-2008
Yeah, thats already in my content planner. Hes got a unique driving style.
@@WolfeF1Explained tysm 😃
@@WolfeF1Explained Nice content btw
@@WolfeF1Explained What about Jean Alesi : )
He holds the steering wheel like a granny lmao
Thank you! great video for f1 beginners like me
Nice vid. Very helpful for an amatuer
Glad you like it 😊
Is it slow to be agressive on both the steering and the pedals? That’s what I’ve been doing but is it bad?
Pretty sure this is the opposite though?

Damn, I'm not sure how to help! I use a moza r5 so I wouldn't know about that.
