Not necessarily, pero karaniwan, kung sino ang may malaking coefficient of expansion, siya yung mas malaki ang deformation, kasi yung coefficient of expansion, siya yung magdedetermine na kapag tumaas ba yung temperature, ano yung magiging reaction niya run. Kung mas mataas, mageelongate siya nang mas mabilis compare to others na medyo maliit ang coefficient of expansion. No, the final level ng rigid block ay due to the weight alone, so, that means na yun na ang final niyang deformation. Now, that deformation due to weight ay composed of the thermal deformation and the normal deformation sa mga rod.
Additional Note: Since mas malaki ang coefficient of thermal expansion ng Bronze, ang Bronze ang magkakaroon ng mas malaking Thermal Deformation.

Hello what if temperature is not involved in the problem?
If nasa topic ka ng thermal stresses, there must be temparature involved. If wala, therefore normal stresses lang at axial deformation ang meron dun.
