Why I signed up for Nucleus in the first place - • 5 REASONS WHY I SIGNED...
In this video, I’m going to give you an in-depth look and initial review of the Nucleus church website builder. I’ll show you the back-end user interface, a walkthrough of how I built the website for our church plant, and finally, I’ll give my honest opinion on whether or not Nucleus is a better solution for churches versus other popular builders like Wordpress, Squarespace, and Wix. I especially love the feedback you offer at 5:28 concerning new themes. Just to provide a bit of background, like you said, Nucleus is still in its infancy - and when we began building Nucleus we decided NOT to prioritize multiple themes right out of the gate. There is a surplus of website builders that will offer you great variety of choice when it comes to themes. We wanted to do something different.
So instead of offering multiple themes at launch, we decided to build invest our time and creativity into building features into Nucleus that have never existed in a church website builder before (many of which you highlighted in this review): single-click card templates, ChMS integrations, built-in giving, fill-in message notes, kiosk setup, etc.
With all that being said, multiple themes ARE on the Nucleus roadmap because we definitely DO want to add more variety down the road :)

Hi Jake, wondering if you can give me a simple breakdown and advice on starting a church website. With the coronavirus outbreak my small church of 50-100 has decided to start one and is looking for something in order to pay tithe online as well. Looking for advice on what all we would need to get started and advice on which companies to use. I am not sure what all is needed but thinking Website design, web hosting, domain names, etc... I know this is a big question but wondering what you would recommend. Thanks in advance and no worries if it's too big a question. Looking for completely free versions or anything below $100 a month with everything included. Recently looked at sharefaith.com and dreamhost.com using wordpress. No idea what I need though.
Solid advice! I think the biggest difference is that the platform is strategically designed for the service of ministry. Most site builders make it look pretty and offer a lot of resources and the next thing you know, you have 20 options in the header smh. I look forward to getting our platform switched off in the future, but I definitely support this team in what they're doing.

Hey bra really enjoy your videos at some point you should do a video over some tips to open the eyes/heart or ideas to remind the volunteers of a worship team that worship is #1 because some people have been at my church along time and don't look like their actively worshiping feels like their just doing it cause that's what they've done for years. I'm a sound guy, and my thought on being the sound guy is its My instrument I can worship on. (People ask me how I make the band sound good and I say the sound board is its own instrument kind of like a guitar some people can lead with solos and interludes some people play rhythm but if worship isn't 1 what are u doing.) And i feel worship leading should be the same Idk :)
