If you’re going to make these valuations legitimate then you need to show the Stones being sold. Unlike gold nuggets which are mostly valued by weight, opals are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. Too much overinflated drama in these gemstone videos.
literally most miners tumble their stones, The Blacklighters (i buy opal from them weekly) do too, they explained if you dont dirt covers the colour and you dont know if your selling something too cheap. That woluld be a rookie mistake. So please explain why tumbling stones is bad? The cheals, the young guns, the blacklighters ALL tumble their stones. All successful miners. There are entire wash plants in coober for people to bring their mined dirt to tumble.
@@keatoncreates Tumbling just results in a different look than raw. They can take each piece by hand to a wheel and reveal more... but hey I get it I am not a miner just a collector of opals.

There were no pieces of the parcel of opal really shown, I doubt it was 89,000 more like just for television exaggeration.
Why the HELL are they using a tumbler?
Rookie mistake at best, not sure the thought process at all...

No yellow light or white just black
Still loving the young guns
the amount of Australian's pronouncing new as noo like American's is saddening
