    I would like to suggest this for now, to try and fix your installation problem (Directly from google)
    You might want to access the folder to do these:
    To check the permission of the file or folder, follow these steps:
    Right-click the file or folder, and then click Properties.
    Click the Security tab. Under Group or User names,
    click your name to see the permissions you have.
    If not, then enable it. Also make sure the file you downloaded is not corrupted.

    Hi Nelca, very much greatfull to you. During lockdown you were my friend in learning of DIALux evo & still i am in lockdown with you.😍
    I am facing a problem. Can I remove the positive signed value (+200 +340) which are showing after simulation. I just want to get the average lux value which are shown without positive sign(200 300). Can you please help me???

    Hola Nelca
    Un saludo caluroso Mabel

    How reliable are the calculations with DIALux? From what I recall, the default work plane is situated 0.8m, right? Will you have an impact on the result if you put the work plane on the floor? What instances have you encountered that a work plane for calculations was ever situated flat on the floor?
    Thanks in advance.

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the default is 0.8 in Dialux evo. Yes, there is impact on the result because the farther the calc plane in the luminaire the lesser the output. It will be 0.0m cal plane or floor level if the area or room is in (for example) corridor, lobby, general areas, storage rooms, electrical room, mechanical room, etc. anything that doesn't have tables that task working plane is considered.
      I hope it helps.

      I've tested it and feels like the difference is quite insignificant, don't you think? About 1-10 lux difference (considering it's not an emergency lighting)

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, not that much. But that 1-10 lux is a big deal for a very sophisticated consultant or architect. Esp if they want to achieve a very specific lux level.

      Thanks for that, I have one more question... Could you explain what the significance of the scaling when importing .dwg files is? I'm skeptical whether the results for calculation are different if you use a different scale... is it merely a superficial tool just to enable the user to properly view the drawing in full view when needed?
      Thanks in advance, again.

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is very important to check the scale of your cad file before start creating the building or rooms, because u may easily noticed that the height of your room is not correct in proportion to the area of your room. If that happens, the calculation results will also be wrong. You will understand it more once u forgot to check ur scale. hehehe! don't blame me!

    Hi Nelca, I think you should press left click on the mouse - then --> Run As Adminstaritor, or it might be also the Antivirus preventing you from running the software.
    Let me know if it worked !

    Hi Nelca... just a quick query... Where do you input the ceilng, wall and floor reflectances in Dialux Evo? Is there any default value in the software for each room type in the pull down menus of types of space or room? If so, can this be edited?

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes. there is default value. i think the default is 80, 50, and 20. Go to materials tab, select change reflectance of room surfaces, from there u can edit the room reflectances. let me know if u cant find it.

    Hello. Thanks for the video. I'm still wondering how to set a Target Value for a Calculation Surface. I know how to set Target Values for Spaces, but not for separately drawn Calculation Surfaces
