I'm grateful that you show the real side of fishing and don't gloss over everything. Fish don't bite every day. It's ok that you didn't get a bite... It has NOTHING to do with the fantastic craw you made. So inspired by your channel.

I love how the bright color scheme came out on this one, all of your baits end up being little functional pieces of art, so cool looks like half of the fun is in building it like a lot of other modeling hobbies. keep up the great work also I like how you are only relying on the lures and not powerbaiting or anything it seems like a better challenge that way of fishing

Totally mental! Fantastic Job! Only suggestion I have (hind sight being 20/20 and all) I would have added is a glass rattle tube or 2 to the inside of the bait. I loved the action on the bait. Thought it was extremely realistic. Good thing I’m not a 10 lbs. bass or you would have had me at “Hello”

LOVE your videos! I've done a LOT of studying on crawdads as bait for bass fishing... Crawdads actually change colors based on water temps during the year, dark black in early spring, red during hot summer and blue towards the fall so you want to pick your lure colors depending on the time of year. You might have better luck with those blue and red colors in fall?! Also because your claws float, that's a "defensive position" for crawdads and the fish seem to tend to strike less often with the claws up unless they're really hungry, so you could try adding a hair more weight to the claws. Another thing is when the fish strike they usually inhale the crawdads quickly which bends the claws backwards out of harms way, so you might have better hookups with a single hook in the body of the bait with the hook's tip on top to keep it relatively weed and snag free... Cheers! Keep up the GREAT videos! "ON to the NEXT BAIT!"

Crayfish, as my local area calls them, swim backward as you had this set up however the tail is also where fish hit them. I believe having the line tie at the end of the tail isn't a good place for it. That's where the hook point should be or at least a hook point should be. If you build a crawdad lure again please consider putting a hook point at the end of the tail and another one right where the tail meets the body, maybe a 3rd in the middle of the tail and the line tie top center of the body. In my opinion and experience with using live crayfish as bait that's the best way to rig them. Hookup ratio's are in the 90% range that way. Fish don't go after them from the front they go after them tail first.
This is a great lure! It had great action! The line tie placement is why I think you didn't get any hits. The line's in the way of where fish hit them.
