Amazing work as always Jay, I hope you keep going and blessing us with your videos and knowledge 😃 looking forward to more videos, hopefully concerning the other later works as well :)) by the way, did you ever think about covering other composers in this format? Have a nice day!!
Thank you! I’m currently trying to gather a base of Scriabin fans and but I do hope to eventually branch out to cover other composers and contemporary artists/bands. Would you be interested in seeing such videos on composers like Debussy?
@@nicholas72611 Yes Roslavets is one of the few composers I know that followed Scriabin's style after him. I haven't tried analyzing his music much but perhaps I should try! Thanks for the inspiration! If you haven't already, consider joining the discord. Some people were listing composers that followed in the style of Scriabin after Scriabin. I figure you'd enjoy the discussion.
@@jaybeardmusic8074 Debussy or Ravel would be amazing, Im sure it would be interesting to see those kinda videos for any composer basically, your style of explaining musical tools to convey ideas is extremely appealing and interestingly made...so you can't go wrong with any composer in my opinion, we will all watch it with great pleasure anyways 😄
The thunderstorm section of this sonata is one of my favourite moments from Scriabin's literature.
Yea it really sounds and feels like a thunderstorm! Amazing how Scriabin can create such intensity and imagery like that on the piano!
@@jaybeardmusic8074 you're delusional.
Always makes my day when you drop a new video.
:)
Again a fascinating video! Thank you so much for your content.
Thank you for your encouragement!

@@jaybeardmusic8074 I'd love to see a video or two on Roslavets, considering he was somewhat of a successor to Scriabin.

it would be quite interesting if you made a video compiling all ur favourite moments in scriabin's music
Yes! There’s so many and they can be so different. My next videos will do deep analysis of just 4 measures of my favorite Scriabin sections.
