Very jealous, my Nan and Grandad had a 'fizz maker'. I was allowed to have a glass of strawberryade when I went there! That machine is much quieter and less violent. Please try wine in it 😂 P.s James that was an 8/10 burp 😜
The best part was when the boy burped. And him and his father laughed. I laughed at the same time because we all new that was coming. I ordered my drinkmate and an adapter so I can use a 5lb tank so I don't have to keep replacing those small c02 tanks
Yep, we have the exact same machines much better than soda stream as you CAN refizz flat pop - as the valve releases the co2 in a controlled manner. You can also use soda stream branded co2 cartridges which are easier to obtain from your local supermarket
The trick is to release the pressure slowly - you can lift the silver valve to let the excess co2 leave, you can also release the co2 quicker by pressing the blue button. Have fun - great video 👍
I have a sodastream and with 2 bottles of gas it cost about £130. Going forward with gas refill costing about £15 for 60 litres and syrup costing about £5 that makes about 8-9 litres it saves a little, but it is marginal. 2 litres of Pepsi Max is about £1.75 and a make your own Pepsi Max is about £1.35 for 2 litres when you factor in the syrup and gas. You probably save about £1 or £2 per week dependant on usage. All said though, you won't have to drink flat pop as you only make what you plan on drinking.
I read a comment saying they would never use soda stream or anything like it. They never said why ..... we have been using soda stream for almost a year now and it's much better than cans and bottles taking space in our fridge. I'm happy to help the planet by reducing waste. The only thing wasted is the wrap around the drink flavoring bottles. Thank you for this video! Wish we didn't live in the USA! I want that pepsi max cherry! I love the pepsi mango we have over here We're looking into this , and the infizz
I had a Sodastream many many years ago. It is the main reason i never want one or anything that pretends to be one again. I'll buy the real thing thanks lol
@@kiphakes Mate. It doesn't taste like the real thing, the CO2 will run out a lot quicker than you expect and you'll end up spending more than a bottle of Pepsi costs. They are a false economy and they taste crap. It'll be covered in dust in the garage within a month.
Much better than wasting space with bottles and cans. Also your helping the planet. So I would use a soda stream , omnifizz etc over contributing to waste ending up in the ocean. ❤

just a quick note/suggestion. You don't have to carbonate the water before adding the syrup since it can do what the soda stream cannot.

Pepsi max cherry js lovely - the ginger ale, a bit boring

Sound video Kip and your son burped at the right time 🤣😂🤣😂👍🏼👍🏼😎
I'm intrigued by the wine idea. DIY prosecco
Absolutely doing it this weekend
Will it do alcoholic beverages? I want to try a gin and tonic
Yes!! We make tonic water with it! 🙌🏻
@@kiphakes but can you bubble the actual drink? So it doesn’t dilute the fizz when you add the gin?
@@TheMsLisaF yeah.. I don’t see why not!
I only use about 20% of the suggested amount of sirups. For me that's enough.
