I just received the same reel 100 size today and it is a thing of beauty. You said that you keep the side break dial of and that you don’t get any backlash. How do you have the inside breaks seat up, do you have all 4 on or two on two off?
I don’t keep any of them on. The only thing I ever adjust is the tension knob. It’s a work of art that reel is. Gonna make you cast like a pro!

I have one but never used it on salt water mostly for bass, how does it handle saltwater?

Nathan Kean you can always buy the cacutta 100B, i have it and its pretty awsome, doesnt have magnetic brakes tough but i dont really need them either

MDLR Fishing my main concern is safety. I’m a bigger guy and I’m pretty good shape, so speed and maneuverability is a small part. Just don’t want to get in over my head... literally
You need to order you a Fathom Worx Custom Rod to put that babe on. They are a awesome rod. Tight lines
I checked the Neuse Sport shop in Kinston NC and they are 569 they had the 100 and the 200 same price. Nice reels. I need a Kayak first. I want a Hobie but they are expensive but think if I get any other I will just end up selling and getting a Outback later. Am I wrong to think this?

That’s one of the rods, the other setup is a Zodius with another Conquest 100. I favor the Jackall rod though. It’s way better than the Zodias.

a local tackle store was downsizing and had two of them for 50% off. So I bought them both and returned the full price one to the competitor store, cha-ching$$$. Two for the price of one!
