That moment when you are proud to admit to others, that you just watched 2 hours + of Kirby footage ... and when you realise how many things you did wrong as a child during this game (i.e.: why the game took me weeks if not months to finish) and the game took this walk-through 2-hours... Kudos to you and thank you :)
Last time I played this game I was 3 years old.... 30 years later, I come back to see this video and all I can feel is nostalgia despite not remembering a damn thing except fuzzy memories of kirby (of course), the main villian, and flying in the sky. Ahhhhhh. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug. The music also helps greatly.
This game was such a big part of my childhood! I used to have one of those really old box nintendos. I played kirby, Mario, and duck hunt. I even had a fake gun to play duckhunt with! Man i love the classics XD
The music of Grape garden is my favorite, was really beautiful, so dreamy. That graphics, that music, my god..the game took me 1 night to finished it. ♡
No way in flying hell is this an nes game released in 1991. This is a masterclass is design. A masterpiece that I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't released today.
@@nore5888 completely wrong. Nes Kirby controls as good if not better and you'd know if you played it. Much smoother and quicker. Not to mention the GBA field of view is really small.
How many hours I lost to this wonderful nonsense...doesn't even feel like nostalgia listening to the music, though, because it's so embedded in my soul it still feels like yesterday.
The graphics are amazing for NES. And it's amazing that this game has pretty much everything the foundation of Kirby is based on. When this game came out it was so innovative and its concept and gameplay still hold to this day
Lol! UFO Kirby is best Kirby. Loved this game so much as a kid. Every weekend, Saturdays especially: wake up early, play Kirby! Watch the Saturday cartoons. Those are over. Back to Kirby's Adventure!
it seems like the PAL version, but played at 60hz! You can tell that the music is higher-pitched than normal :) It's because some aspects of the game were sped up in the PAL version to compensate for 50hz, playing it at 60hz then results in a slightly sped up experience.
Every game I had before this was a hand me down from my cousins who had just gotten a Genesis. This was the first one I ever chose myself. I did pretty good looking back on it.
Oh my gawd, I remember this game! So many nostalgia feels~ I'd rented it from one of those old video rental stores like Blockbuster Video, Video Street, Hollywood Video, those kinda places. You know the ones, before things like Netflix and Gamefly were around. I played and played it like crazy, but I could never beat it. I got to I think the fifth world or so. I was pretty close to the end before I had to return it. I never did get to beat it though.
I could never get past the Sun and Moon boss as a little kid, I'd get the sun down but I always got screwed over by something else. And you did it in 2 minutes!
NintendoDude in this time of social isolation its awesome that you replied to this. My comment is from five years ago. I’ll just say I hope you’re doing well and are safe and healthy.
I played NES as a kid. Wasn't introduced to Kirby until Smash Bros. on N64 and then a Kirby game on GBA. Never been a big fan of Kirby games personally, but watching this I really can't believe this was available on NES -- the features in this game are beyond anything else I remember on that system, including greats like Mario and Zelda! I'm would have played the heck out of this if I knew about it back then!
When I saw the moment you fought that sphere with the stars on it (l know thats nightmare but still) the background looked... awesome, for one, it was multi scrolling, not a lot of NES games had that, it was displayed nicely.
Omg this gives me so much memories ❤️ I never knew what kirbys name was and I had so much fun playing that game and now I know the name I can finally get the game again I love it !!
I mostly understand the intro on this game. But besides that, in "Super Smash Bros for Wii U", the description for Nightmare said that the only way for King Dedede to seal him away was to break the Star Rod from the Fountain of Dreams.
With BIG onboard memory, lots of sprites on board, and the scan-line counter, etc, it's a big Kirby adventure as the pink ball of heroism seeks out to undo the damage the evil king did to Dream Land earlier.
This game actually came out well into the 16 bit era so it had to compete with the SNES and Genesis games of the time. This is one of the best NES games in my opinion, and one of my favorites.
It's hard to believe that Kirby was made on the same console as Donkey Kong, Mario Brothers, and Golf. Imagine what it would have been like if this was a launch title for the NES!
Incredible graphics and gameplay for its era.
You mean for the NES

Fun fact: Kirby's adventure was actually the LARGEST game in size for the NES with about 6 megabits

totally! one of the most underrated franchise
With graphics like these, I can't believe it's on the NES!
if you looked at the frame rate, it really taxed the NES's hardware
it plays rather smoothly on my NES (well for an NES game) I think it's just the video
charizardoreo I see why. These graphics have aged VERY WELL. Superbly pushed the NES to the Nth!
that's why it's the biggest official licensed NES game (~6MB)
It's one of the latest NES games, so it'd been more likely

This game just oozes charm and character, the graphics and sound are amazing, easily the best game on the NES
