I followed the instructions to the letter twice. It didn't work. The machine doesn't even attempt to boot from them. Using Woeusb at least it tried and then failed with a rufus error message.
Bro when I start copying the files from disk mounter option to my usb then the file transfer is stucked at 854 files and time left for transfer completion is keep increasing. Should I wait or is there anything wrong?
I wanted ubuntu. I installed it. But there wasn't menu at startup. I decided to install ubuntu without windows. I saw you fixed it in previous video related to this one. Thank you for fixing it. Ubuntu is best for coding and everything except word processing programme.

@@TechINtn thank you!! I will look at the link. I do believe it has to do with my old legacy bios. The same “2” ISO image works in the Windows Rufus set up for non uefi. So I want to learn it in Linux for my own.
yo. while copying the files to my pen drive (it's 32gb) it stops at the 844th file but doesnt show any error, i can see disk activity on the pen drive with the led, but the bar on the screen (and the mbps) dont change at all. is there any way i can fix this? thank you

@@TechINtn on my 4gb pen drive i also did the same steps in the video but instead of the official windows 10 iso, i put hirens boot cd, and it booted (just to point it out)
@@siphosihlemkhefa1403 This only works for some computers go in your bios and turn on legacy and turn off UEFI. other option: Im not sure how you do it now but I found a way to cut that 1 file that to big in half so look up how to cut a file into 2 on (your os/linux) and split that file you need to split in half then try again

For some reason, gparted is not detecting the usb i have plugged in, i can access the usb from My computer, but it won’t detect, I’m using mint btw if that matters.
If you have any issues with your usb not showing up within GParted: go to GParted at the top left beside the edit tab > Refresh Devices or CTRL + R you should now see your usb flash drive available
@Mike good love Thanks for your comment, but you make a mistake. the version of windows 10 download is 20H2 with the October Update ISO, this version has contains a file larger than 4GB, which can not be copied to a FAT32 partition, for that we will use the NTFS partition. For UEFI mode, you need to change the partition table of your USB key to GPT.

if is it ok, when you choose usb drive, a mesage will appear at the top of screen: press any key to boot from CD or DVD . you should presse any key to boot from windows USB
@@TechINtn Thank you for replying! I finally can boot into windows installer. I use gpt instead of mbr partition. I think its important to know what type of memory used in your pc (mbr/gpt) before making bootable disk

Maybe it’s because your usb drive’s format is set to FAT32. And with that format you can only copy and paste only 4gb of data to the usb. If you change the format to NFTS, it is going to solve your problem hopefully!
Its just keep unmounting filesystem. End of the all job when i need unmount it. Edit: Now i think i get somehow rid of that but now my bios cant recognize my usb?

It's probably taking the USB drive a long time to write files - there are some large files, and although the OS may indicate that the copy has finished, it's actually still happening. Just be patient, leave it for 10 or 15 minutes and try again. It helps if you can use a USB drive with an activity LED, but cheapskate manufacturers don't have LEDs any more.
Used this video for windows 11 after confusingly failing with the standard "make fat32 file system" or "clone the iso image directly to the thumb drive..." -- Thanks.

Your PC got stuck on a file and doesn't know what to do with it. You have to restart the download.

you should redownload the iso image of windows and reformat your usb drive and retest.

you should be connected with root user. use sudo mode

You can download from within Linux but to install, yes a USB stick is required.
