This review is so much better than their ads. I get that they have a very short time, but I hate that they make it look like you just point it at the mailbox and click the start button. Thank you for taking us through the way they actually work from setting up the software, testing materials and the actual engraving.
This is a really well-done video and exactly what I was looking for while I ponder my first machine. Thanks
very clear and informative video! thank you.
Great review James ! The scratch paper's result is amazing !
Hello mate, thank you for a top video. I have a LP1 and it is starting to get a little bit unreliable so your video has not only sold LP4 to me but a I will be referring back to your instructions. Thank you again and have a very merry Christmas. 😊👍🎄
I recently received my LaserPecker 4 and this is a little beast.
Would be nice to post the settings used.
Also the negative points
thank you, great video!
Fantastic video!
This is niiiiice!!! I'm contemplating purchasing one. It would really help wuth my custom business. Thanks for the detailed review 😊
Great video very informative, helped a lot. Thanks
You're welcome!
Did you use the standard settings or made some adjustments? Would be great if you share them here 😊
Thanks James! That's so cool!😸😸
My pleasure!
How about a video on the software side.
Very helpful and informative. How wide does the rotary expand for larger round objects? I am still using the original LP 1. Thanks so much.
Excellent review James.
(You're gonna need a warehouse soon to keep all your engravers!)
Definitely need to make some layout changes in the shop lol
Brilliant video.
You are also wonderful
Which settings did you use for the business card sized engraving?
Will the cylinder adapter engrave on a Stanley tumbler with handle?
Hello, thank you for the video , just a question. Can do color logo on plate ?
I been playing with stainless steel and could never get it that dark. What settings did you use?
How did you make it cut after engrave?
Please help me with setting for print logo on black acrylic, i need a lot of setup but the result are bad! please help me
Brilliant video, no nonsense just gets on with it thank you!! Just ordered one after seeing this.
May I ask what thickness the acrylic is? I couldn’t read the scale.
Thanks! 3mm, I think.
Very nice review. Better than the producer itself! One question tho, Do you think would be possible to engrave the VIN number on car door glass?
Yes. In the acrylic or glass engraving setting. You need to cover it using black marker as it doesn't engrave on just clear glass nor clear acrylic or any clear or reflective material really. So the black marker will make it dark and good to be engraved
Hola que tan profundo graba en acero? hiciste la prueba?
We would like to see, engraving of channel logo, on the motor bikes you made..
Parámetros para grabar funda transparente de smartphone? Gracias
I just purchased the LP5, and I'm looking forward to it coming in to begin having fun. How do you know what settings to choose? And, I'm mainly engraving pens of wood and acrylic.
I'll be reviewing it in a couple of weeks too. LP software has presets for common materials. You can start with those and tweak them if necessary.
Can it do glass and pottery / Ceramics?
Tinted or coloured glass and coloured ceramic and porcelain.
Can it etch a PCB properly?
Yes
Отличная работа.
На ложках можно имена писать или на стаканах?
I just purchased a LP5, and From what I've seen, you can use a black marker on the glass and coat the glass where the logo will be, and then wipe off the marker ink. Maybe try a dry erase marker or sharpie. Hope this helps and works. 😊
Do you have to use a computer or can I use my phone with Bluetooth
You can use either.
The name made me think of my kidney stone episode
Sure are wishing you would use this on a ebike build lol😂
I will be soon, actually. Doing some engraving work to the e-moto battery enclosure. There's going to be so much ev content coming this fall that you guys will be sick of it, just bear with me lol
OK how have you suddenly morphed into the Canadian epicenter of Lazer engravers?
🤷♂️ I did one review and the requests haven't stopped. I've turned dozens away. Hate to, building relationships with these brands could be really beneficial, but I don't want to drive you guys nuts either. We're getting back to regular content real soon.
These have been fun, but really came here for scratch built EVs
@@JamesBiggar Ah, a victim of your own success then! I hope my previous comment didn’t read as a criticism in any sense - it was not intended that way. Just a lighthearted observation about all the lasering, which has been interesting.
No worries :)
@@JamesBiggarFor what it’s worth, I subscribed because of the laser content. ;)
