Just listened to a sample of the book through SoundWise. Incredible and groundbreaking effort by Steve Rosen to intersperse old audio of his interviews with Eddie Van Halen into this book. Mind-blowing stuff. Can't wait to dive into the full listen.

This is amazing. I would love to hear it. If it was available on Audible or EverAnd you'd have my money now. Granted you can't charge that much for it on those platforms, but you'd have a million times the distribution.
Thank you to everybody for your early support of Tonechaser: The Audiobook. I don't think there has ever been an audiobook such as this one, which has been embedded with the original, archival interviews of the artist (and if there has been one, I don't know about it). And who more deserving in all this world than Edward Van Halen?

I’m huge evh fan but. Alex van Allen interview s were The best. He gave so many unheard detail s of family
Alex did give great interviews actually. I wish I’d heard the stuff from 1985 years earlier….He saw the history from a different angle , perhaps a more astute and street wise angle than Ed himself God love him. Ed was so close to the creative process that he didn’t observe the business and social politics in the same way ALEX did….I think Alex saw ahead more easily than Ed did in some ways. And unlike a lot of people in the Management Alex was totally on Ed’s side looking out for him and his best interests.
It was also lovely to hear Alex’s memories with his Father because Ed being a bit younger would have been too young to remember the stuff .
