This is my favorite map in Hard Reset! This is peak level design, atmosphere, music, and plenty of stuff to fight. I was already very biased towards Ashes 2063’s Map 7, and this map blows my mind even more than that map. We now have the dark atmosphere of an approaching rad storm, with “To Dust” playing and symbolizing the feeling of walking to your doom awaiting in the Spire. Is it just me or does anyone else now have the urge to blare this music track when a severe thunderstorm approaches irl?
9:26 Oh my god I didn't even noticed the switch...I thought you were supposed to jump ontop of the generator and on to the roof of the building. I think I accidentally discovered a speedrunning strat
I think the 2063 AD comics may be a reference to 2000 AD comics. The British one with stuff like Judge Dredd and some of the inspirations for 40K. Also geez one explosive bolt hit cost you like 36 health and 22 armor. Damn!
I also realized upon watching the rendered video that I said Metro 2063 instead of Ashes 2063 😅 I'm honestly surprised I haven't made that mixup more. And yeah, those explosive bolts don't screw around! Hell, the standard bolts fired by Black Water Assassins don't, either!
You kinda missed the Hades Casino Rules poster, but whatever. Nice one! Of, and nice Fallout parody, BTW.
Apparently one of the biggest things that they are going to include in the patch is a massive expanding of that very map, to flesh it out a bit more. That's what I've been hearing, anyway. I'll let Vostyok say for sure :P
I haven't been shared any details (I don't think they have been shared with anyone outside of the dev team), but that's what I've been hearing through Ye Olde Grapevine lol

My only complaint about Hard Reset is the ending feels a bit... abrupt. Otherwise, amazing expansion! Bravo, Vostyok and Ashes team!!!

You have full shotgun shell but you prefer flamethrower
I always use flame against Gladiators and Trash Hags when possible; fries 'em nice and fast :p
*Spoiler alert* Shotgun shells are also more useful against the final boss in the next mission. :)
