Was proudly part of the USJ Choir in Beirut, Lebanon before having to move back to the US after all the crisis Lebanon had to endure and is still enduring over the past years.
Yet, Yasmina is still introducing us to more cultures through music.
I am so happy to see people from India commenting on this; they are familiar with the sounds, they grew up listening to the beautiful beats.
I am also so happy to be able to be introduced to different cultures through music.
If there is one common language that defines us, that defines humanity, that expresses our emotions, whether happy or sad; and that we can all understand, and that we can all agree upon...it would definitely be the language of music.

Beautiful country. It has always been my wish to visit Beirut and Damascus. Hope one day.

With music rich, they all unite,
Soothing vocals take flight.
In perfect harmony they sway,
Coordination in every play.
I don't even think this group realize what masterpiece this is, or do they? A. R. Rahman and Shreya Ghoshal will be proud. Outstanding.
It is hard to believe that this was performed in Lebanon, considering the political and economic crisis there. The mood of the performers defies the mood of the society.

And that's why A R Rahman is a worldwide phenomenon. His music reaches people in every nook and corner of the universe and is an inspiration for aspiring musicians. The chorus here was unbelievable with so many variations and improvs. Absolutely loved it ❤

I have many musician friends, and I've witnessed the immense amount of practice that goes into creating even simpler songs. So, I can only imagine the incredible effort these talented musicians must have invested to produce this masterpiece.
