- On October 27 at about 6 in the evening, miscreant barged into a house at Landmark Colony Lane 3. When Nagaland TV contacted with the victim, she stated that at around 6- 6:30 in the evening miscreant barged inside her house forcefully and was asked to hand over her mobile phone. She was further threatened with a gun pointed at her head. The miscreant then took the phone and smashed it on the floor and left immediately. The victim also stated that she was unable to identify the miscreant. Speaking over the incident, the Colony Council informed that stern action will be taken

What happened was condemnable but,The mystery here is why the culprit ask the lady's phone and smashed it,why he didn't take away?what was there in the phone?why she was only targeted?if the culprit was a habitual thief,he should have taken the phone with him. The lady is hesitant to disclose everything perhaps.

When the victim is not serious to disclose then our media should not jump above to create another issue though the act may not be like by all.
Please note that police will talk to media only when they get concrete crime details. Dont disturb them in the middle of their interrogation

Demanding for information in such a boisterous manner to the PRO and the police when they are in the heat of the investigation (note that the next 72 hours after a crime is the most important duration during any investigation) , I, as a public condemn it. It not only disturbs the investigation but give it a thought you guys aren't the only news channel on TV or TH-cam who may be requesting for interviews or information, so who will investigate if the investigators are busy being interviewed. Just came across this channel. Appreciate the effort however it's not the wisest thing to be asking all those questions to the victim in video though she may be blurred still the accuse will definitely remember her if anything vital is informed by her (worse case scenario if the miscreants are people she may know personally which could only mean the worst for her at this time) also it could be a threat to not just her but her family's life unless you could provide security and assurance for her safety like being kept at police custody for protection purpose etc.
