      @
A lot of his teams couldn’t match up to some of those great teams for example out of all the great team how many of them had to keep changing coach’s LBJ had 4 different coach 4 his championship and if we measuring everything thru championship then hands down Bill Russell is the man and it’s no more discussion but I’m sure he’s not even mentioned and let’s also remember Kareem Abdul - Jabbar had the best over all high school, college and NBA careers with all
His numbers but I’m sure he’s not mentioned it’s just. Not like LBJ

@@JRcalifornia He could be a dominant player - I think all fans would respect him if he a)didn't load manage (he set a poor example for the league and terrible for fans, b)played defense (set a poor example as the face of the league) c)had not affected the entitled mentality of the players the way he has which has lead to the current culture which most fans are rejecting d)had not been hyped as the greatest of all time AND gone along with the hype, e)was not into stat-padding over playing hard and helping his team f)was more clutch g)had stayed out of riot politics and race-baiting h)had not taken the easy road so often with super team seeking (another bad example and consequence for the league) i)had a go to move other than barreling into players on layups j)had played in an era of better defense and more contact (not all his fault) k)had not selfishly brought his son into the NBA only to embarrass him - stopping there. It's a shame that he has inspired so much ill will among true fans of the game because of all of the above and more. But all is not lost - he goes out a billionaire. His business smarts have to be respected. He kept his nose clean. Or at least we thought so till the Diddy party stuff. But until we know more about that - he kept his nose clean - and he raised his kids. Those last 2, plus his wealth accumulation (vs. squandering) and a very strong prime - make him exceptional even if not well loved and respected. He was great. Not in my top 5. Bu when the hype keeps on about being number 1 - even better than MJ - then it inspires the pushback.

Amazing how people only do the 'ring don't count' thing only with Bron. That's like saying Tatum & Brown's ring don't count bcuz of all the top player injuries, or Duncan's 99 ring don't count bcuz it was a shortened season. Any1 can create narratives. 😮

    • @cappy2282
      @cappy2282 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

@TeranIcer ...That's not how it works. Disney ring and injuries throughout a season are not the same. (There's a reason Lakers didn't try to run it back with same team following season....they knew better lol)

Why won't LeFraud retire? Because he’s on a never-ending mission to chase MJ’s shadow. Winning rings? That’s a pipe dream. So, he’s left playing the stats-padding game, clinging to “longevity” as a flimsy argument for his imaginary GOAT status. Plus, those millions he racks up for being a glorified bench-warming bystander aren’t exactly pocket change.
His ego is akin to a bottomless pit, a ravenous void that demands he tops every chart known to basketball kind, be it points, assists, or rebounds. He’s the textbook definition of an egomaniac, incapable of facing the fact that no amount of stat-stuffing will ever elevate him above MJ and the other legends. Those icons defined greatness with a blend of real skill and finesse, while his entire game plan revolves around bulldozing through the court for easy layups.

If MJ isn't on that team, I'd think about taking Kobe.

It's been an incredible run. Consistent, dominant, versatile. I don't like his politics but as a player he's earned my respect. He cared about the game, more than many new young players with "star" talent.
What hurt his brand was the Skip 'you're not MJ' type takes. Thus LeBron will go down as the only top 5 player who wasn't enjoyed as much as he could've been. The co-host here is wrong.
James' peak was incredibly dominant because his team always had a chance to win. Bottom line.
Personally, as a Pelicans fan, I'll tell you how good he is. I HATE the Lakers, yet I wish my team gets a player like him just once. Instead I've got immensely talented players who don't care about ball, can't be bothered to get in shape, are motivated by money/women/brand, and who you can barely motivate to even show up. By contrast LeBron spent $20 million dollars on his body just to give himself the best chance. He's not great because he was durable. He's great because he earned that durability.

Thank you for including Giannis and The Joker. Both have incredible title runs that were more impressive than anything Lebron has faced. Not to mention, both Giannis and Jokic have had more impressive career years than Lebron. And finally, the piece everyone misses is that Steph Curry is the true GOAT of the Lebron era. When we look back at this era, we won't be talking about how good Lebron was, we will be talking about how Curry changed the game, had the best record in NBA history, beat Lebron in multiple Finals and was a unanimous MVP of the league.

Curry has some great performances but Lebron was the best player. And the list goes on. People just need to give the man his respect. No one else has done nor could do what he has done over the course of his career. End of discussion.

I have listen to multiple podcasters addressing the decline of the NBA. I have the perfect fix for the issue. Bring back 90s style defense that the rest of the world is currently using, call traveling fouls, call carrying fouls, call the double dribble fouls, allow the hand checking back into the league, and add a 4pt line to the game. History will prove the recommendation I have laid out will bring back the golden era of the NBA. Lastly FIRE Adam Silver because he is to soft of a commissioner. There is no need to limit the 3 pointer if you allow DEFENSES to combat the problem. Have referees that allow players to play and call a foul when it really is a DAM foul. Oh yeah add a Foul call for flopping! I use to have the NBA package for years and now its been almost 10 years since I had the NBA package because the game today is a joke. On the announcement side of things bring back announcers that know the DAM game like popular coaches with a personality, and former players with a personality that are not afraid to say it like it is #KeePiTReal. In closing MJ is the GOAT & Kobe Bryant is head of #LbFlopNoHeartHavingJames! Almost forgot LBJ is on the JUICE father time is undefeated unless your cheating! Spending millions on you health/body per year is a lie he & his camp has been pushing. Example everyone thought Lance Armstrong was so great to do what he did in his sport and got away with it for over a decade. The USSR perfected the use of using the JUICE and how to beat the current test in place for over 25 years! You can put lip stick on a pig ,but it will still be a pig!

LeBron was favored in 2011 and 2014 they beat the Spurs the year prior. That's two championships that he realistically could have won no problem. Also in 2015 that Warriors team were super young and had no playoff experience so I would argue LeBron could have beat them too. But he should easily have 2 more championships during his career. And don't forget about 2009 when he won MVP and the Cavs were favored to make the finals but couldn't beat Dwight Howard and the Magic were missing jameer nelson too. LeBron just has way too many losses but he isn't a winner. He's great at putting up good looking numbers but it's hard to win with him

Last 10 playoff games the self proclaimed "Goat" is 1-9. I doubt any other Top 20 NBA player has ever had a run like that. And I didn't even mention his embarrassing . Also, he's only led the league in one of the three major stats twice. He led in points per game in 08. And in assists in 20 during the total bs bubble season. Thats insane. Jesus christ, he's been in the NBA since he was 18, he should have a huge amount of stats piled up. Yet they don't credit for leading in total stats compiled. They go by per game. Hasn't won any kind of award in ten years. The last five all NBA spots were literally the media putting him on the third team so he will still talk to them. Many other players deserved those spots over the ultimate cry baby of the NBA. And probably the worst thing he's done for the NBA in his reign as the self proclaimed King and Goat, nobody else besides blind biased Lebron groupies ever actually agree with him, is completely destroy the NBA ratings and run off a huge % of the fans that the NBA and Stern worked so hard to gain. Gone. Will never return. Bravo. Give this man a huge applause before he gets mad and goes on a cursing tirade on racism and how his kids are in danger from the rest of America. Then go to Lakers owners and demand Bronny be named the starter for the rest of the decade. Please Lebron, don't start crying and asking for even more foul calls. My god dude, if you were as good at basketball as you spend all your time claiming you are, you wouldn't have to spend time claiming it.
Anybody remember all those times MJ got mad and went on a tirade about how great he is and how nobody gives him his full respect? Yeah, me neither. Kings never have to tell anyone that they are the King. They just are. Only frauds and imposters need to constantly tell you how great they are.
