Finally someone who gets it! This was incredible! Lisa you need to have her on the podcast again to dive in deeper. I’m a nurse and people are always shocked that I don’t use a thermometer! How is it that humanity has come “this far” and lost track of how the body works! There’s such a need for this information, thank you for sharing!!!

I have a small herbal apothecary at home of just over 70 herbs and roots. I make capsules intuitively every morning and love the way they make me feel.

This was so informative and inspiring. At the age of 23 I’m starting to have a different outlook on modern medicine. I’ve seen so many people in my life that are completely dependent on 20 different medicines. Every new medicine that is prescribed cause a new ailment or issue that causes yet another prescription. It’s scary. So I’m glad there are resources like this out there!
Would anyone happen to have a good book resource for herbal medicine?

Great video. I'm learning to organically grow my herbs this year and air dry them myself for teas during the winter.

Nice talk thank you, I would caution anyone to do their own research about fevers though. High fevers in childhood have been linked to schizophrenia

This is definitely a sharable! Thank you so much for a calm and balanced view of the subject. I've found plantain also works exceptionally well on burns. Bruised cabbage leaf poultice for swellings (like in clogged ducts, mastitis and/or swollen joints)... And in the event of a troublesome fever, raw egg whited (slightly beaten) applied to the feet and covered with sock & plastic wrap allows the body move through the process more effeciently. Not recommending any of these. Not a doctor. No medical advice to be found here. 😁🙄👍

So what I'm catching from this is that making a variety herb teas might be much safer for daily use? A little variety daily/essentials and tincture for specific treatments that need a more powerful effect?

    BonJour,
Merci+++
    A bientôt,
    Cécile de Bordeaux (France)

I love this except it doesn’t go into how to use some of it. Saige for cramps for example, is it tea form or??
