Looks very good. Kinda lowered my mood becouse I had similar idea for a game and out of nowhere youtube gives me this video about someone already making it and making it 100x better :D ... anyways really great job :)
If you only play multiplayer games then crosscode is a must!! On a serious note it is a game that has mastered level design for platforming, puzzels and combat. It is the indie game of all time and i think every dev should take time to study it It is a fake online mmo but believe me it has all the charm of it Your game looks incredible too. I love the art direction
I am sorry for your loss buddy, as a parent to 3 cats, I can not imagine how it will feel when I will lose any of them. Btw, ur game could be the next Stardew Valley or Travellers Rest. It looks pretty solid and polished and so so beautiful. I am completely blown away! 💖💖
Thanks Hamzah ❤️. I have not played Travellers rest yet but I notice it always comes up at the bottom of our steam page as a related game. Will put it on the list!
Great video! Its awesome to find another budding creator XD I started game dev this year & ran into the same problem... ART. I think its great you where able to find someone on that front haha, I started learning art myself but my main goal is going to be programming the game. I look forward to seeing the progress, Ill be watchin!👀😆
Great improovment compared to the older videos - much more catchy and interesting. How did you accomplish this change within a week? Good Luck with your game. I hope to create a viral video too, soon. :)
That means a lot to me that you noticed that. I spent many hours watching vidIQ channel and other videos like that to learn how to make my content more interesting. I hope to get better with every new video. I'll subscribe to you to make sure I get notified about this viral video :)
@@Mudtek love that. 😄 I actually have a bachelors degree in film, but struggle with the little time and no budget I have to create the content. Therefore I know how hard it can be to create decent content.
What local llm did you try? I work with local llms in my job and you can get the resource requirement down quite a bit using small models and 4 bit quantisation like with llama 7 billion for example. Great video and cool looking game btw!
I found some LLMs which could work fast from huggingface, but they're results were horrible. Our NPCs need a backstory of 2000+ words and the LLMs get so slow unless you keep it to a couple lines.
As a solo dev myself, i can relate to how hard it is to bring your dream project to life. A little piece of advice, your main menu at 4:00 was a little bit slow in animation and have too many steps, a main menu 's mission is to bring players to the gameplay as less clicks as possible. Hope that useful
That NLP video sounds super interesting. I have no clue about the games side of things so is it used as a more modern version of the Ultima text parser? The art and gameplay looks really polished as well.
Looks incredible man, and great video too! Congrats on an awesome looking game!
Glad you like it!

I don't think this should stop you from making a game. Even with the same ideas, games will develop differently when made by different people.

I had not even heard of that one. Checking it out. Thanks you!
I second that!
I'm sorry for you dog, you game looks very cool. I struggle finding people to make games with too.

You're spot on! We have a UI person redoing it because that was precisely what they said.
Que jogo incrível!!! 🤩🤩🤩
❤️❤️
i liked it
So you started out solo and then formed a team? How did you find your team? Planning on something similar, thanks!
many ways. One great way was an ad on ArtStation

We use some standard packages for the NLP to do cosine scoring and then tie that in with the our application/databases
@@Mudtek thanks! New rabbithole to explore
I liked it👏👏👏👏👏

What kind of software do you use to create your documentation boards?
Confluence for documents and Figma for visuals
Amazing game 👏.
Thank you
How much did the art cost? I found that to be hardest part of hiring artists, was that I couldn’t afford to commission a lot of art.
Varies wildly. If your game just needs a tileset - invest $500 in a good one.
0:03 😅😅
The game looks great 🤌🏼 u got a sub
