Harlan brings back old memories with those wonderful dishes. My teacher was a outstanding Belgian chef who passed some years ago from brain cancer. He taught me a lot.

Harlan knows how brimg the people in. I can tell you if I lived there he would see me every other day. The selections were fantastic and I only wish he was in the US. Enjoyed the video, a homerun!

It’s cheap to live there. 12 k a year you can live in Thailand. Save 300 k live there on the interest for life. I’m moving there in a few years

The shrimp 🦐 with chorizo made my mouth water, question how much of an advance do you need to make reservations at Harland’s? I’m going to be there last week of October.

first one was a t bone. mate we eat em like mad here in aus. best steak love them on the camp fire.
At the rocky end of that beach in Rayong if you’re lucky you can catch the muscle divers and buy fresh muscles pulled from the rocks for 100 baht per kilo. Keep an eye out for them. You won’t be disappointed 👍
I really don't know why I torment myself. It all looks gorgeous. Food looks quite nice as well! ;-) One of the best steaks we had was in Oz. The best lamb (fresh) ever was in NZ.

Looked more like Andouille sausage than Spanish Chorizo which is Dark red from all the Paprika.. Maybe its Thai chorizo 😉
The color also may be off a bit due to the lighting, I noticed color differences while I was filming.

The food looks delicious but being allergic to cheese very limited for me.
Intolerance or allergic, as I am lactose intolerant and nowadays there are ways to get around it and you can enjoy foods you wouldn't normally be able to eat, except for special occasions and you don't have to piss off the chef. 😊
@@tomthebadasscat After a blood transfusion at the age of 8 I stopped being able to eat any shape or form of cheese. I am now 69 and have learnt from my doctor I have a severe allergy against eating cheese. I would rather trust the informed diagnosis of a medical professional rather than an uninformed TH-cam wannabe. Get properly informed before you make dumb assumptions.
@@kevinf-b5065 Wow I asked you a question? I had my appendix removed at age 30 and surgeon said it looked like mush. Turns out I had Crohn's Disease and years later a well-respected gastroenteritis said has anyone told you you are lactose intolerant after I described my current symptoms. I'll tell you what!! I have suffered from Crohn's for over 30 years and suffer daily from the pain etc etc etc but I saw a new doctor the other day and forgot to tell him about it as it's just part of life. Told him about all the other shit that's wrong but forgot Crohn's. Trade you any day of the week for a simple allergy. I'm allergic to eating blue swimmer crab but never stopped me going out and catching them for the family and friends to enjoy. Have a happy day you miserable $#^@ '-=^#@$‼

Well , seing in the first minute of your video noticed the cook cooking those chicken skers on the grill, but his tongs are absolutely useless but he's touching the raw chicken with his tongs I don't see a pot on his grill boiling water to dunk his tongs In and disinfect his tongs and I don't see any extra clean tongs to use to take off cooked kitchen skewers, that means if that chicken had semolina you would have alot of sick people with semolina poisoning very serious.Thats serious lack of responsibility as a cook and the Che. There is how people get seriously sick from restraunts by cross contamination of bacteria especially chicken that cam contain semolina warn your chef freind he's totally biligerent of what's going on in his kitchen. Shouldn't have people on your video warning him what's going on his own kitchen. I'm a chef by trade it was so easy to see that for me
