I'm also a big fan of the KvltDrums2. They sound great, but they take a LONG time to load. I actually rendered out a lot of the Kvlt Drums as samples, and load them in a ReaDrums Template (ReaSamplomatic3000) and they sound the same, but load much quicker.

I'm trying to copy your effects chain here to diagnose where I'm running into issues and was wondering if you had any videos where you show the amp sim settings? Thanks!

Hi Mr Smith, I just subscribed! Great content, the best I've seen.
I have some questions please. I'm a beginner, I can play some easy stuff and I also have couple of riffs that I could gather for a track. My dream is to record something. I don't have gear now but I will get it.
My questions are: do I only need a guitar, interface, Reaper and a computer? Can the bass be programmed?
Also, do I need something along with reaper? Preamps?? I'm not sure..
Would a generic guitar (unbranded) from.amazon and Behringer umc22 interface do the job? Focusrite is a but too expensive and I'm just starting.
    Thank you in advance

How I record Black Metal + bonus Death Metal guide:
First I go to the local church, great acoustics
I find the priest and murder him in cold blood
I smear my guitar, strings and pick with his blood
I setup my Fisher Price microphone and cassette player for ages 4-6, to be authentic with the Burzum traditional recording process
    I play my songs
Burn down the church when I'm done and move to the churches backyard cemetery
Detune to B or lower, engage an HM-2 and reanimate the dead by playing/recording Death Metal
I sell the recordings from both genres, hit TOP spot in the metal charts, live the rest of my life rich and famous . . in prison probably

Now I recently ordered a guitar because I'm in the mood for making some oldschool BM again. :) Let's see if I still can play the guitar. Is there any chance to get the MIDI Files for Kvlt Drums from you? Or where did you get them? Cheers and regards from Germany!

If I buy Kult Drums 2, will I be able to add their drum beats directly into Reaper, or do I need to buy another program like Superior Drummer? I'm not really interested in creating my own drum beats necessarily; I just want to use pre-recorded beats for recording and writing.

    • @narthang1270
      @narthang1270 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

You can download the vst and put it into your VST folder, then load it into the daw following these passages: open Reaper --> Ctrl+P (Preferences) --> VST --> Re-scan (now the VST is loaded). Then insert a new virtual instrument on a new track --> write Kvlt Drums into the searching bar and select it. 🍻
