She also broke a spell that was cast by the Gemini coven leader, said to be “unbreakable”, with her own power. And also, she can cast her magic from a large distance, just like she did with Hellfire. And then she has her psychic side that is so powerful that Cade (the Devil) said he’s never seen anyone like Bonnie in 4000 years.
Qetsiyah said that she simply came back to life right after Bonnie's death. The only valid explanation would be that Bonnie's death created a surge of power (Nexus Vorti) which I believe what Qetsiyah had hijacked in order to resurrect herself successfully in the land of the living. This means that bonnie was undoubtedly an extremely powerful witch, capable of creating a Nexus Vorti simply through her death. Fyi Nexus vorti is equalls to celestial events or other rare occurrences that are unpredicted by nature.

Contrary to what people say towards the end of the season Bonnie started controlling expression instead of it controlling her. The only reason she died was cuz she tried to use it with dark magic and spirit magic at the same time. After putting down Silas she got drunk off of power she probably couldn’t brought Jeremy back with jus expression but she had to use all 3 and with that came a price. I wish she would’ve kept expression, that was the magic she deserved all along as it doesn’t require a spell jus ur will as her grams said. She deciphered the map on Jeremy without getting overwhelmed, put down Silas without getting overwhelmed, dropped the veil without getting overwhelmed as well as put it back up and she was already dead at that time. She could’ve mastered expression and in my eyes she did. She was strong enough to embody expression which Shane told her it killed his wife but it didn’t kill her, trying to use all 3 power sources at once did. The reason why people may not think Bonnie is the strongest witch is because at times she was always on defense especially when she couldn’t use her magic. Whilst every other witch in tvd universe we’re always on a mission. They all had lofty ambitions and age old vendettas. And now that she tapped into her psychic power, she can read minds, make people see things and much more. Her enemies are in for a rude awakening and I’m pretty sure with practice she can full resurrect Enzo.

Expression is completely different it draws on energy thats that’s so dangerous it could destroy the world if it was every fully called into existence. This is all stated throughout the episodes of series 4. the forces of Expression are considered so powerful that many witches discredit it as magic, for it expands beyond the limitations of both ancient and modern witchcraft. And it’s not even monitored by nature Hence she’s the most powerful character ever whilst using it.

Contrary to what people say towards the end of the season Bonnie started controlling expression instead of it controlling her. The only reason she died was cuz she tried to use it with dark magic and spirit magic at the same time. After putting down Silas she got drunk off of power she probably couldn’t brought Jeremy back with jus expression but she had to use all 3 and with that came a price. I wish she would’ve kept expression, that was the magic she deserved all along as it doesn’t require a spell jus ur will as her grams said. She deciphered the map on Jeremy without getting overwhelmed, put down Silas without getting overwhelmed, dropped the veil without getting overwhelmed as well as put it back up and she was already dead at that time. She could’ve mastered expression and in my eyes she did. She was strong enough to embody expression which Shane told her it killed his wife but it didn’t kill her, trying to use all 3 power sources at once did. She put down Klaus and Kol with expression and Elena when she bit Elena she first turned her blood into vervain, then immediately gave her pain infliction and kept all the going while she was on the ground healing herself jus let that sink in, they couldn’t keep this Bonnie she was way to strong and Julie would never allow a Black woman to be so strong on her show. Notice how Freya and Dahlia got all the power on the originals and Josie and Elizabeth and Hope did on Legacies if only Bonnie would’ve gotten that “I’m powerful don’t fuck with me” treatment smh

So basically magic has to be channeled from somewhere natural/traditional magic comes from the earth whilst dark magic is calling on dark forces to have more power but there are sometimes consequences like someone getting hurt or turning the person using it evil as using it as it goes against nature.
Expression is completely different it draws on energy thats that’s so dangerous it could destroy the world if it was every fully called into existence.
This is all stated throughout the episodes of series 4.
the forces of Expression are considered so powerful that many witches discredit it as magic, for it expands beyond the limitations of both ancient and modern witchcraft.

Because if Jeremy find out Bonnie was doing black magic with profession Shane Jeremy would have stopped Bonnie from practicing that kind of magic if Jeremy knew how bad it was he wasn't stopped Bonnie from seeing profession Shane .
