  • Today, we are making the Pom Thumb Cocktail as the first episode of a new series, Instagram Cocktails Decoded. Yes, we search Instagram for the most shared and liked cocktail recipes to bring them to you. We may add some of our Just Shake or Stir twist to them, but generally, we'll try to stick to the recipe.

    Looks awesome must try. So now the fun of English biweekly either means two times a week or ever two weeks. 😜

    • @JSOS
      @JSOS  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      re it will be every two weeks. I am so confused with this biweekly game haha 😅

      Biweekly means every two weeks. Semiweekly is twice every week.

    Sounds lovely. As you said you need to try from the cranberry juice and not the top, I think I'll make one of these with 35ml Cranberry juice shaken in it, strained over ice in a Collins glass. I love a Tom Collins and a Gin sour and the idea of it being fruity just sounds a perfect mix.
    I often have trouble getting a "float" such as the red wine on a New York Sour. If using 45ml spirit I split it 30ml and mix 15ml of it in with the wine/float to ensure it is lighter so floats easy. Thanks guys, great video again

      For sure, it has to do with the juice. Bottled juice is not as light as fresh squeezed juice. Anyway, it turned out very nicely, and we loved the cocktail. One little trick to float is adding a splash of soda water. The carbonation keeps it up but is not fizzy.

      I'll give the soda a go. Is a teaspoon enough in a 20ml-ish float of say, wine or cranberry?@@JSOS

    • @JSOS
      @JSOS  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@bigzosso Maybe 10ml. Give it a try. Also, ensure the wine is not sweet because it will be heavy. The secret is to don't have sugar. Cranberry should be OK if it doesn't have added sugar.
