LUNCH & LEARN - First Contact Practitioner Opioid Awareness Video Tool

Brought to you by Boost in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Service, this Lunch & Learn session on 3 June 2024 saw Victoria Strassheim (Programme Lead, Health Innovation North East North Cumbria) deliver a presentation on 'First Contact Practitioner Opioid Awareness Video Tool'.
In 2022, Health Innovation North East North Cumbria (HI NENC) undertook an evaluation of first contact practitioners in the region to understand how confident they felt to have a conversation with a patient about opioids. The results indicated confidence was an issue, and so a video tool has been developed to address this.
