The way Dracula goes, "UH-WEOAH!" when he lauches that beam from a distance is hilarious! Who thought that was acceptable to use as a battle cry?
It's kinda iconic now tbh lol
Huh, I didn't know the Stone Sword could briefly stun some bosses. It was also a bit surprising to see that, of all bosses, Akmodan is immune to it?
@@jruler93 akmodan was a surprise to me as well lol
Also, Medusa absorbs the damage, healing it instead.
@@OverseerMoti Since Medusa is the one who was cursed with a petrifying gaze, it makes a degree of sense that she would either be immune to petrification or absorb it.
Likewise, Richter, being the most powerful Belmont to that point, could reasonably be expected to resist most or all status effects.
But Akmodan? Why would he be immune?
Ahh Garibaldi temple. Memories
Stone status works very well vs organic enemies since they are alive (compare both Orlox forms) and/or when they don't have magical protection against stone.
If you crissaegrimmed your way throughout SoTN, you’ll miss a lot of the more interesting boss mechanics.
this is very true, I only learned about these very cool swords recently
you don't get the Crissaegrim before the inverted castle and intentionally grind for it or get lucky with a rare drop.
As a 33 year old goin' on 34, this is exactly the kinda content I'm lookin' fer.
Love for curse of darkness 🤘
@@TealBenjamin one of my favorites OSTs in all of gaming
Mayo I ask how you hoy the stone sword since estoy game yo start beating the fiesta boss?
This is a 'debug' version of the game, in which you start with every item, and a bunch of hearts and HP.
Esse tema "The Garibaldi Temple", é atemporal...
Concordo 100%! Tento sempre incluir essa música nos meus vídeos, gosto demais dela!
With all your stats maxed out like that any weapon would be good. (Mostly).
This is a 'debug' version of the game, in which you start with every item, and a bunch of hearts and HP. Your stats are very similar to what you'd have on levels 5-10 though, so I only have 15 base STR in this
@@matheusdegiovanni Word. That makes more sense.
They mostly come out at night. (Mostly.)
@@nickparsons337 Cartman?
@@cygnusactual1618 Actually, it's originally from the character "Newt", in "Aliens." South Park just had Cartman say it in an episode to be funny; (which it was.) And also to see who'd get the reference.
Satisfying
That is an unexpected effect. I do not remember that weapon, where did you acuire it? I was a fan of the obsidian sword, but most of the time it was only acessable midgame if I remember correctly...
Thanks for new info on a cold case!
@@garysuarez9614 the Stone Sword drops from the enemy Gorgon (inverted castle, in the room to the right of the Guardians close to the entrance of the final bosses)
May be cuz he is a magical creature, then has magical protection vs statuses like stone/curse/poison.
I guess 100% mechanical enemies could guard those statuses too.
Lol stone is always so broken in rpgs. The stone gun in fft or the odd decision to make chaos blade a stone weapon that will almost never be used for that bc bosses are typically the only enemy that have high enough hp and def to survive a killing blow and it doesn't matter bc all bosses are immune to most status effects anyways. Also Hobyrim in the original sfc tactics ogre could shut down an entire map in 5 minutes with his sword special
Absolutely no effort.
Thanks for sharing that, John! Would you mind sharing why you feel that way? I'd love to hear more so I can improve for future videos!
No offense, But theres 30 other swords better than this one.
100% agree! This is a very unique sword though, so it makes for a cool video!
What's better about this sword than 30 other swords is that there's no other sword that can beat Galamoth so easily. It is dull, but its effect is being Galamoth's David (David and Goliath).
@@urthling U 100% sure about that?
@@matheusdegiovanni Definitely💪
@@JenGM24nope, lol
