Chinese President Xi Jinping and Ramaphosa are expected to make major announcements on trade relations and global political issues.

When choosing a loan in Africa, no one is forcing them. They can choose a Western loan with an interest rate of 5% or an Eastern loan with an interest rate of 2.5%! The East has built schools, hospitals, roads, and bridges! The West directly transfers money into government accounts!

not to forget chinese Han dynasty started the ancient Silk Road 2000 yrs ago which went from Xian all the way across central n west asia up to Istanbul . Xian was the capital of China at the time.
The Silk Road established the lst ever international trade , diplomatic , cultural exchangew amongst the pple of the world that existed at the time. Places along the SR benefitted from the connectivity n new thriving communities settlements also sprouted along the SR. The foreign rulers or their reps would come on goodwill missions to meet the chinese emperors where they exchanged or renew their diplomatic relationships.
At one time , they were all invited by the great Ming Emperor Yongle to attend the grand opening ceremony of the newly completed palace complex [aka the Forbidden City] in his new capital Beijing. Yongle commissioned the building of the palace complex so that he could move the capital from Nanking to Beijing.
They use soft power so well. The West DNA is not cut for that. It is all bullying.
