Aww thank you so much! Glad you’re enjoying the interstellar vibes! 🚀✨ Sharing my process is just part of the mission-next stop, the dance floor of the Milky Way lol! 🌌🎶😄
Thank you! 🚀 I'm glad you're enjoying the cosmic vibes! Who knows, maybe Voyager will become the unofficial soundtrack for alien dance parties across the galaxy hahahah! 🌌🎶😄 Thanks!
Thanks a lot! 🚀 Making my album felt a bit like launching a musical rocket into the cosmos. :)) Here's to many more interstellar journeys! Next album - Mars 🌌🎶
amazing! appreciate all the hard work and effort during years to assemble this airplane you are flying so gallantly and calm. Keep on creating this great music my friend 👍
Thank you so much! 🌟 It’s been quite the journey assembling this musical spaceship! 🚀 Glad to have you on board as we cruise through the cosmos with some smooth electronica vibes. Next stop: the Mars Berlin School album! 🌌🎶😄
This was good! Or, as Asia put it: Love it!!! And a good idea having you actually talking, hearing your voice (I think this was the first time that you spoke to the camera).
Thank you! 🚀 I'm so glad you loved it! Yeah, one of the first times. I usually feel I have nothing important to say and I want the music do the talking. :) But this time it was finally time to break the silence :))) More spacey sounds and maybe even more chatter from mission control on the way :))) 🌌🎶😄
@@CaughtInJoy The only (minor) critique I have regarding the CDs is that they come in a "jewel case" (as the plastic cases were originally called). I like the cardboard cases a lot more, they feel more "organic". This is what I like about Martin Stürtzer's CDs, they have kind of "hybrid" cases, with printed cardboard on the outside and a plastic CD holder inside (as far as I remember). Or the last release of Klaus Schulze (Deus Arrakis), which was completely cardboard (as far as I remember - the CDs are somewhat out of reach at the moment ;-)). Still, I'll gladly buy them the way they are. Your channel grows slower than I would've thought, but patience might be rewarded in the end … 😉
Hey! Just saw this. Thanks a bunch for your thoughtful feedback! Totally get what you mean about the cases. I will look into this, but I'm afraid jewel cases have to stay for now. Love your taste in music too! And hey, appreciate the encouragement for the channel growth. Slow and steady wins the race, right? Thanks for the support - you rock! 🎸
@@CaughtInJoy Oh, you just jumped over the 3000 subscriber mark! Wasn't this way a few days ago, so I hope that your channel (and music) gets more traction. And be careful about my taste in music - there's some weird stuff in there … 😁 (Did you have the opportunity to listen to Terry Riley's Shri Camel? And no, this is *not* the weird stuff …)
when multi tracking : are your fx in serial (each voice has its own fx), or do you have a mixer doing aux sends and tracking dry voices and wet returns ?
I believe in creating sounds altogether with delays and reverbs while performing and I record them wet. I almost never add FXs in post-pro. Maybe just slight room reverb or plate here and there for the mix. When performing each synth voice has its own dedicated group of delays and reverbs or some other weirdo pedals. :) So, there is no UNDO button :) Hope this helps!
@@CaughtInJoy yes all live in the moment with fx but let's say you group your plucks to a delay and verb , is that group still multi tracked with each voice and then record the fx on another track ? or is the entire group sub mixed and recorded wet down to one stereo track ?
@@dubstationzero4908 I don't group. Let's say there are 20 stereo multi-tracks. Each track has its own delay+reverb. No sends, no auxes. By track I mean lets say a Prophet-10 voice or Moog one single stereo timbral or Moog Mavis single voice, but then another Moog Mavis will be on another track with different delays. Also, before the voice is being outputed to a first pedal I use DI box every time. Massive difference. Let me know if this makes sense to you.
@@dubstationzero4908 every track chain looks like this: synth line level signal goes to -> DI BOX outputs instrument level signal -> to first pedal input ....pedals pedals... -> mic pre -> audio interface I mostly use tube mic PREs from Art called TubeOpto 8 that output ADAT. And SSL XLOGIC that outputs MADI.
talented and inspirational. thank you. stay safe. keep jammin!
Thank you so much my friend! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Thank you for all your support!
waiting for the releaseeee !!!
Yay! The day has come! Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did making it. Have a fantastic weekend my friend!
Awesome vibe! Thanks for sharing your process.
