This album has the whimsical energy of being a kid and searching for various bugs in your backyard due to a love for these little guys. With each of the additional sounds on top of the beautiful piano being relevant to the bug. The wood of the weevil, the pebbles in the isopod, the shine and sparkle of the bee, all extremely fitting. I'm so glad this video is getting more attention now (not enough though). I've been listening to this album for the past 2 weeks now while writing an essay for school and it's been such an experience. Something about these tracks just make me feel so present. I feel nostalgic listening to these but without the "longing to go back in time" part, it's like there's some childlike curiosity sprinkled in there and it's so refreshing to feel that again. For real. I don't want to stress you out by setting such a high bar, but these tracks are unlike anything I've ever heard before. Definitely going to be listening for a while. As an aspiring entomologist on the spectrum, i can assure that this is going to keep me calm for a while. This whole project would’ve been a lot emptier without all the little things in the background, like the rain in butterfly, the stream babbling in treehopper, and little bamboo sounds in weevil. The art is adorable, and every song gives each bug a unique character. This is an amazing work, and i hope the best for you

This is absolutely lovely and has halted a several hour crying fit, allowing me to finally lay down. A beautiful lifesaver. After listening for many months, I've decided that bumblebee is my favorite due to the way the song progresses. For some reason, bees tend to get everything good in life, including their very own songs. Maybe it's because they produce honey and has a fuzzy look to them? Who knows... Treehopper is a close second, reminds me of mid 2000s flash games and some cozy RPGs. And the background ambiance is really something else.
This is HEAVILY underrated! This is so serene and simply lovely. I have anxiety and depression and listening to this to start my day really helps me feel motivated to complete tasks, thank you 💙

If you’re looking for new bug song ideas for a future project, I highly recommend the earwig. They have isopod vibes, but a bit more punk rock. All weird bugs are someone’s favorite bug and for earwigs that someone is me 😊

Over the summer I raised many caterpillars into butterflies. Soon after the last monarch was flown, I lost my dog of 15 years to throat complications. He's flying with them now. This album means a lot to me. It sounds exactly like the way my dog and I felt when we were together. I'll never forget how it felt to sit in the yard and watch him explore the yard in rain and shine. And I won't forget all the lessons the caterpillars taught me about life and goodbyes

I'm so glad this video is getting more attention now (not enough though). I've been listening to this album for the past 2 weeks now while writing an essay for school and it's been such an experience. Something about these tracks just make me feel so present. I feel nostalgic listening to these but without the "longing to go back in time" part, it's like there's some childlike curiosity sprinkled in there and it's so refreshing to feel that again.
For real. I don't want to stress you out by setting such a high bar, but these tracks are unlike anything I've ever heard before. I unironically feel like my mental health has been so much better since I discovered you. My friends are getting annoyed at me by this point cause I keep telling them to go listen to this album lmao. Very happy I could purchase it on bandcamp!

Definitely going to be listening for a while. As an aspiring entomologist on the spectrum, i can assure that this is going to keep me calm for a while. This whole project would’ve been a lot emptier without all the little things in the background, like the rain in butterfly, the stream babbling in treehopper, and little bamboo sounds in weevil. The art is adorable, and every song gives each bug a unique character. This is an amazing work, and i hope the best for you

This is absolutely lovely and has halted a several hour crying fit, allowing me to finally lay down. A beautiful lifesaver. Also, being a tailless whip scorpion who doesn't get out of the cave often, I appreciate the birdsong deeply. Organic sound in music, especially birdsong, is my #1 favorite thing.

I often listen to sad, heavy or overstimulating music. And I love it but it also triggers me in the worst ways sometimes.
This album is the kind of music that helps me center myself. Its nice.
After listening for many months, I've decided that bumblebee is my favorite due to the way the song progresses. For some reason, bees tend to get everything good in life, including their very own songs. Maybe it's because they produce honey and has a fuzzy look to them? Who knows... Treehopper is a close second, reminds me of mid 2000s flash games and some cozy RPGs. And the background ambiance is really something else.

If you’re looking for new bug song ideas for a future project, I highly recommend the earwig. They have isopod vibes, but a bit more punk rock. All weird bugs are someone’s favorite bug and for earwigs that someone is me 😊

Over the summer I raised many caterpillars into butterflies. Soon after the last monarch was flown, I lost my dog of 15 years to throat complications. He's flying with them now. This album means a lot to me. It sounds exactly like the way my dog and I felt when we were together.
I'll never forget how it felt to sit in the yard and watch him explore the yard in rain and shine. And I won't forget all the lessons the caterpillars taught me about life and goodbyes
