My 1974 250 2C came from the factory with electronic ignition. Surely the ignition on these has nothing to do with the system voltage? I’ve fitted a rooster booster to improve charging and simplify the voltage regulation but it’s still 6volt. The LED headlight is way brighter than the original halogen. I’m not sure it’s worth messing about with it now to bring it up to 12 volt. Indicators weren’t standard on those machines imported in 1973 or 1974 and those that came with mine were horrid. They haven’t gone back on! I’ve left the shrouds off the rear shocks. Looks better to me. I’ve had my bike nearly 50 years now , almost as long as I’ve had my wife!
