I got the 425 Denali, which is the black version of this grill. My temperature probe is way shorter, maybe an inch or two. Curious if you version is newer or mine. In any case so far I have been impressed. Thanks for the video Tom!

It did a nice job on those steaks Tom, and the grill seems like a great value.
I bought a stainless Weber Genesis about 15 years ago and paid ~$1,000 for it. With that said, the only thing I've had to replace is the igniter and the propane of course. Faced with this choice today, I think I'd go with the Monument.

Please run a magnet on your stainless steel when you review so we can get an idea of it's 3xx or 4xx so we can tell how long it will last. I would only buy a grill with a cast aluminum fire box. Hard Pass for $700

300 series is non magnetic and doesn't rust 400 series stainless is magnetic and will rust check it eith a magnet
