Scaling doesn't belong in all content and it sucks but the dragons are not that hard when u know how to play and form atleast average groups !
You are correct. This content is for the top 1% , " average group" means OP end game. The rtq is broken. Only get cok , wipe. Either people don't know how, or don't want to. Wipe. RAQ, gets you low dps who don't know how, or are under powered. LOM Trobriand is glitched, can't kill him. Wipe. There is nothing to do except this boring event. It's great you long time players are enjoying end game Content, but literally everything else in the game is broken.
I don't consider myself an end game player, although I am above 60k IL I don't posses any BIS item like boa nor the new mythic gear, but 70% of the time if not more I'm top DPS. Why, just because I care to learn what my role is and the best way to do it.
For example, how many of you watched any video of cok to learn mechanics. My guess is not many. Aragon did a run of ancient dragon naked 20k IL no comps, no boa.
Every game has a learning curve, end game is hard and it needs to be, otherwise is boring, no one wants to play that kind of game.

@@kirstenschronce7017 you can kill Trobriand just watch your dps output and do both scorpion phases you drop his health fast it will become bugged and get stucked in the last phase of the DPS check
@@mariankira3007 I'm not a DPS. Lol. But it's gotten stuck 3x in a row. No biggie, I've already moved on to a new game. Happy Gaming 😊
@@jockpo523 I have. However, evidently nobody else does, and end game people don't want to run it. It's a wipe 100% of the time, and my tank and I qeued up for rtq 4x in a row, and it's cok every single time. We haven't been able to complete rtq or raq since the mod dropped. I'm bored.
Should've been made as endgame content with 60k IL minimum
so many things they can do but i dont think the dragon difficulty is the issue,scaling is def shit
@@GalacticUnderwear I agree with everything you said. I like the good old days where you had to work your way up to endgame content & it wasn't just handed to us. So yea I'm definitely on your side when it comes to scaling. If they want newer players to be able to run endgame Q's then find a way to scale the content for them.

Damage and health arent the issue but the cc gives ranged dps a huge advantage over melee
OK so I play on PS4, I don’t typically follow or subscribe to content creators, but this video sold me, if people find us a hard truth to realize, too bad for them, guarantee you roll with me we will get it done, some of these people fail to realize that it doesn’t matter how much gear they have, if the brain behind the controller is under equipped, you ain’t getting it done.

If scaling gets removed they need to make everything have more hp and hit harder that way people actually learn their classes and mechanics as you said. In its current state If scaling was removed all dungeons would be a cake walk and enemies would feel like they're hitting you with a wet marshmallow.
YEAH they would need to rebalance for sure if scaling is removed but imo scaling sucks.

With 34k items, I knew what I was getting into but didn't struggle that much, I just knew it will take me 20 minutes and all I did was just trying to dodge the red marks and avoid being in front of its jaws.
If you think this is too hard go farm an old ribcage or any previously bis item.....I'll wait.

When getting my healer though the Adults I ran with various random dps. The difference in the amount of damage some took simply because they knew the mechanics was insane. I had one barb (60k) who barely got hit AND was top dps over a very good HR.
I think the dragons have been made easy so that people can get a base set of gear to use moving forward. This will allow people to skip all old gear and go straight to the new Mythic (as Aragon showed can be done with 20k naked players). This isn't a bad thing IMO, it's kind of like a soft "reset" to deal the the huge power creep that they keep doing. It's sad that no one will run Avernus etc. but hopefully it will let newer players not feel so overwhelemed by what they see as a huge grind.
I do however hope that future mods won't keep this up. VoS was great from the point of view of "this is the best. You need to learn stuff to get it" (the RNG was crap, but the actual dungeon and putting the best stuff in it is how an MMO should be)

Everytime I play the Ancient Dragon hunt with people. They just rage quit in the middle of the battle. I have decided not to play this anymore. I know that it is supposed to be hard, it is an ancient dragon after all.
Ok well I can say you are 100% Apple candy and Cherry pies correct here..OMGSOHY.. NO one wants to work for anything in this Game. I don't get it. They want something and when they get it, and its something you might actually have to work for its like people give up and walk away...I have made it through been fighting ancient dragons with Modifiers and its not easy for me..It takes a bit, but we get through it. Half the time it is not pretty , Like a 5 bagger not pretty. Want to know a little secret I learned as a fighter tank... Even on adult If need be TANK... Let the 2 DPS kill it and Get a tank to be the tasty little human bag of flesh bait..Sure maybe it takes a bit longer, but If you have a good tank you will get through it .I haven't had problems even with lower lvl DPS.

Grats on your first piece of gear. This is only possible if you put in hours of time to unlock the mods. I have not been lucky to find people with mods..so I have to be the one to unlock those. Grats on your gear. I will most likely be a week behind due to mod farming to be able to drop the currencies to get the gear pieces. As long as someone in the group has it, but most do not currently. I think the hunts otherwise are fine as they are. Should be a challenge for the rewards we get.

Mmm unlocking all modifiers, yes but, if you need only we can say two mod hard and extreme to drop epic components needed for a specific piece, I think it's about 2 hours to max out the two modifiers y ou need...in the right zone killing g roups on enemies gives you 50 elementals every 30 secs, you need 6000 of these to max out a modifier...2hours and 300k AD and you have your 2 mods maxed out: guaranteed drop of 12+16 parts for ancient run, need 10 ancient runs for the 65 ridges...only 'issue' are the 100 dragon kills needed to the dragon hunter max rank, then you can buy all the mythic pieces you are able to farm..no more need other party members to bring in mods 👉
Its not ment to be easy and imo its not for 40k il ppl. Ancient ones we are talking about. And to scale those is just pleasing new players. Craptic business as usual.

I haven't seen anyone even get close to completing one. 11 wipes today. 1 Alliance , ( lasted under 10 seconds , all end gamers) 10 PUGS. A challenge is fine. But if you don't already have a clique of end game friends? Not happening. I'm not complaining. I have other games. ✌

Everyone runs out in front of the tank. Dead in under 5 seconds.
5 attempts at ancients, 3 successes, 2 failures. All PUGS from the queues. I run a squishy Thaumaturge, with ~58k IL (I can go a bit higher but I prefer balanced stats to pure IL) The failures were both black dragons which is the hardest. The last successful one was a blue, we lost our healer on second fight but stlll won, I even got paingiver, died a few times, but managed to finish. The other successes were a green and a red. All of the sucesses had modifiers, at least two, one had three including a chaos. General stategy tank goes to head, I flank at around 120 and snipe from there. Healer stays at 60 Stay out of the red circles, and pop those heal potions when you hit 50% so healer can concentrate on tank. To me these are at a near perfect difficulty. When dragon sits up and begs go ham on it.

Spot on. I think they are awesome. Love how they have different attack sequences. We literally killed the white dragon a dozen times then out of nowhere. It threw up a fog. The game of thrones dragon attack while he’s hovering over you, crazy cool. Sad thing. They’ll just keep getting easier as we grind them. Either way. Great job imo.
I think the Black dragon is broken....It accumulates the mechs and spill All at once with those balls like a machine gun, daze knockbacking and painting All map...idk If its dps triggering this, Skipping phases...am i Crazy here?
I'm not bothered about scaling, they need to look at players on Xbox using the Dragon ridge glitch and already have the Tactful leathers, serene hood, gloves, boots and rings.

I mean it's not that i am wanting them to not be able to do it, half of it is scaling but people just need to realise some content just needs to be harder, and its not even the hardest content, if u can;t do it find better groups, if those groups can't do it means ur not ready. but with all this dragons are too hard crap they will nerf them and they will be a joke.
Dragons mechanics are so ez compared to trials/advanced dungeons. And even then, trials can be very simple

It's easy, and mechanics? We did a few run with 30 k DPS and 50k tank. The campaign however being 18k itemlevel is not true should be 55000 as the scale is that. And ancient dragon seems to have combat advantage, I increased my awareness and it go easier on my tank.
you know what i mean those few mechaniss it has are considered mechanics, they're just not tomm level mechanics or zariel or cok
There massive and powerful dragons of course they are going to be a challenge to kill just got to get used to how fast they attack and how aggressive they are my main things I'm not keen on is the insane amount of control effects and aoe stuff they can lay on the floor but in all fairness after learning what moves do what it shouldn't be a problem just same as when a new endgame dungeon comes out we need to learn the boss mechanics I've only ran young and adult at the minute looking forward to running ancient dragons just need to unlock them

@@GalacticUnderwear yes I am...and after + 20 min waiting I've run some ancient...and you know what ? Never failed never died, done also with mods no hdps no true endgamers...healer done great work, tank mmhh so so xd but we helped each other and, with a dramatic 15-20 min time clear, completed. You are just right with players whining...actually I've done worst with random groups on adult 3 players no tank or healer I've died far more...if the group play well, it's maybe more easy (not faster,?) to kill an ancient one 👉
I'm 69k IL and yup, most wont take ya unless you're 70k+. (Xbox) I've posted and posted and constantly get passed over. Thank goodness for an Alliance otherwise I'd never get to run.
yea i am close to getting my first piece of mythic gear which is the new ribcage for my rouge which is going to be nice i prefer farming dragons with t3 mods then running hc vos on a chance at a drop and getting it not even be the right drop this way the rng element is completely removed and the gear over all is better then the vos stuff for the most part anyways

Should see the runs I'm in. The tank trying to hold aggro btw this is a very good tank but that dragon switches to me everytime. I'm trying to run away avoid him and red. Btw you can't dodge anything in the fights. But no matter how far I am away that dragon will never switch aggro until I'm dead. He one shots me with his melee. Sorry I love the hunts. I asked for the barovia hunt system and this is the same thing. However the dragons are broken. Can't dodge, get hit by literally nothing. Cheap one shot mechanics that are unavoidable. They're not hard. But they are somewhat broken
Not sure what's going on on console but i can dogde just fine most of the time..and i understand about aggro it happens if your tank cant out aggro your dps. The mechanics on dragons aren't broken on pc every damage is accounted for here! i never take dmg from nowhere, there's always a reason and the most common one is bleeds or dmg over time . tbh dunno why that is happening to you
@@GalacticUnderwear not hitting hard tbh considering were scaled. So makes no sense why the dragon aims at me and won't switch until it kills me which is usually a one shot that I can't avoid. Uploading a fail later hopefully people see my issues lol
