This is such a sad condition. I’m at 27 months of constant 24/7 pain. I’ve tried acupuncture, sinus surgery, botox, seizure meds, tricyclic antidepressants, Effexor, and plenty of headache meds, allergy meds, immunotherapy, and I follow a gluten free diet. None of it has done anything to help, not in the least. I’m at the point where I just question whether I will ever overcome this. My drs say that it’s like throwing darts at a board and hoping but there’s not really much left for me to try at this point. I never had headache issues whatsoever before this started, but I was under stress when it started. Has anyone found anything at all helpful? Thank you for sharing!

Hey , so I started with a NDPH on 11th June and since then i've been having them everyday. They are more like migraines and sinus headaches. And before the onset of the headaches i was really in stress and was very anxious about something. So do you think that , it could also trigger these headaches?
I've had it since I was 17. It was in the evening when it started. I was with a few friends and we were watching Goodfellas. All of a sudden it felt like someone stabbed my brain with an ice pick. I'm now 37 and still have it. Its so debilitating I'm surprised I haven't offed myself. I think it was viral. But who knows? I seen multiple professionals. From eye doctors, to Neurologists, acupuncture, you name it. Tramadol helped when I found it but since that became a controlled substance, forget about it. Then it lead me to being addicted to Hydrocodone (Norcos), Percocet, whatever. I dont wish this on my worse enemy.
Started 4/4/2020 had an mri found a sinus infection in the back of my head probably had covid coming up on 2 years never goes away hard to function with daily life
3 1/2 years here. Recently had middle turbinectomy to remove a contact point= put me back to the 6 month mark (lost progress). Hopefully the recovery is quicker. Next focus is tnf & CGRP inhibitors. Todd Rozen looks like he’s pushing the boundary on NDPH (treating the precipitating factor and gathering tnf levels in the csf) why don’t other neurologists?

Have you tried Aimovig, Ajovy? have you tried some kind of therapy for your stress?
I got this I got it now for 3 1/2 years now !! NDPH is sad I still have not found anythig that works!
Same I have had NDPHs for over 3 years
Tramadol helped for me but doctors are reluctant to give it out and if you dont want to be on any "drugs" as well then that's up to the individual.
So many many people end up finding a lyme/co-infections literate MD treat with months antibiotics and headache finally goes away.

@@025gursimar8 I think a trigger is stress but not the sole reason behind the headache. Maybe the headache is a stressor.
TMS look into it
I’ve lived 6 years with new daily persistent headache
I've got NDPH, it started October 1st, 2014 when I was 12 years old. Not gonna lie I'm really tired of this bs.
