Thank you for featuring us in your comparison review! 🛡❤
I would like to see How and Taom tips.
Wow, you did a great job! Very thorough and love the amount of information. I plan doing some reviews on tips later this year aaaaannnnddd, I don’t what I can do to compare/complement this. Awesome job my friend, you said you’re an addict😊.
Just the tip. Thanks for the continued great content/channel. Have been subbed for a couple years. Appreciate the reviews!!
Thank you for the support 🙏
I love the G2 Medium. I am always looking for “better” options though. Please test the G2 medium and compile all your test results in a chart. Awesome content.
+1 I love to use G2 Medium Tip
Great review! I appreciate your thoughts. When you have time, please review the Kamui Athlete tip. Thanks 👍🏽
I have been testing out the Thoroughbred tips on my personal cue. I really like the way they play and feel. They take chalk well and have not glazed over yet. At the price point, they are a nice and cheap tip to experiment with.
For those that install tips, they are quite nice to install. They cut easily and take a nice finish.
Of course. I appreciate your effort in creating such a thorough, informative review. I am curious about the Kamui Clears too
Kamui clear is slightly firmer in hit than the regular Kamui. Adds a protective layer when putting on future tips which is nice. Helps extend the life of the ferrule.
What is your favorite tip? Any tips you guys want me to test? Let me know below!
I used to play with a Kamui brown. Which I still like. Then I found the G2 through my installer. That's been my favorite since, now for a few years. By far my favorite but I haven't tried some of these newer ones so I'm looking forward to your video.
@@crazylegson2 I've tried G2 and really liked it. Prob should review it for everyone on the next one.
How is the Navigator black medium tip that mcdermott puts standard on all of their cues
Try ultraskin fire
Taom Fusion
Thank you for your amazing content and work! I wanted to ask if you could post a follow-up review of the Revo shaft as your previous Revo video was before you had your diamond table. Also, you mentioned precision tips as being one you have tried in the past how did you like it?
Thank you for sharing buddy.
I have Caiden medium on my Hsunami 2.0. I absolutely love it !!!!!
Great review i will be linking it to my tip installation page. Please do a review on Horo Tips. I think thier handmade tips will give all of these a run for their money.
You are right about the counterfeit Kamui tips. I just found out 2 kamui black tips i got installed in thailand were fake. After a few months of use, both of them delaminated in the center and also mushroomed.
Kamui Clear Black are my usual go to tips. I'm very interested in trying the Caiden Fighter Tip. I'd Like to see Taom and Elkmaster tips
Honestly I got a tip change from my years ago and it was elk master wich was better than the default tip but when I finally got a Kamikaze hard on my cue it was way better and I felt in love with it and the cueball and spin control was way better. When I got a new shaft with the KO brothers tip I also fell in love with that. Personally I don't think anything gets better than the KO tip
LOVE the Thoroughbred tips! My tips for life! I use the medium-hard as I like the feedback. Never had one glaze, and never have miscues. This is especially helpful when I find a good rhythm in a match and don't want to stop to chalk after every shot. They are perfectly priced. And, the nicest looking (IMHO). Perfectly complement my Bluegrass Cue. Thanks Richard and Kelly! Fan for life!
Could you test the kamikaze tip and Tiger tip next?
I love the Zan Hybrid medium hard tip.
Would like to see a test on the Zan Hybrid Max
I use tiger sniper now, and it’s amazing.
I used already all kamui tips before..
maybe the ultraskin and how tips would be nice to see a review
Tiger everest as it comes in stock for a lot of cues.
@drillguy300 is right, G2 medium is also the only tip I've fallen in love with for 9 ball I also use the G2 hard on my snooker cues
I’d love for you test the Rhino F1 crystal tip
Great review! You have me sold on the Caiden Fighter. The only thing that you didn’t say about the Caiden that you did on the others is whether the hardness plays true to what it is (medium plays like a soft/medium plays like a medium, etc). Could you tell us more about that? Thanks again
Caiden is like Kamui where it’s slightly firmer than ratings. Soft plays like a medium to me. Good catch, thanks for watching.
Nice content ! 🖤
But how about Kamui Black M? Have you ever tried it? Is it good as the Kamui Black S? The feel and everything. I’m in doubt choosing the S or M
I used to play with the S, but yeah struggled a lot coz it’s easily mushrooming
Kamui black soft plays like a medium, generally no mushrooming. I've had a few mushroom on me but it's rare (so it depends on the batch). Medium feels a little too firm for my personal liking.
Please , make a video about (( carbon fiber JFLOWERS S.M.O))
Would be great if you compare it with predator 12.4 revo
Can you test the How Titan tip
Have u played with the kamui athlete tip? If so how would u say compared to the thoroughbred and what one u think is better in your opinion for u?
I love the zan tip hybrid max
I'm a G2 Hard user, and it suits me. I recommend G2 tips and chalk.
I love the G2 soft if you can check this tip please.
Have you played with the kamui athlete? What do u prefer between that and thoroughbred if u have played one
I’m a 2 handicap and do a little of what you say not to do roll and up to the top. I’m going to fry the open back as you say see what happens.
What hardness do you like? Kamui Black Hard was my 1st installed tip on my cue, 2012. It was great for a while. The glue likes to permeate into the layers and make it unable to be shaped after a couple of layers. Never tried Kamui Brown or Thoroughbred. Caiden is a new brand, and I have heard good things.
I like either a soft or medium
Le pro is my go to
Have u try the kamui clear hard i have read that carlo biado is use that one and he talk that the tip is playing like the kamui medium clear
Kamui black is the one I like the most for layered tip but a milkdud is also a good choice
What is the size of your pool table @TheBilliardCorner?
Where can you get the caiden tips. I know there over seas company.
Would you please tested out the Precision cue tip by Dennis Searing ? Thankyou
yes, next tip video I'll put it in
Would you ever try to review the ultraskin tip? Specifically the red one. It hits like the classic moori.
For sure I’ll add it to the review list
What happened to your carbon shafts? Both messed up?
navigator and tiger tips as well as Ultraskin
You need to test the tips on the same shafts. Tips will have a different feel on different shafts. Your test would then be more accurate. Thanks
Wich one taom fusion/caiden?
The HOW titans are now by far my favorite
Mine too.. and I will never buy another Kamui tip.
What hardness do you use? And have u ever tried the kamui black before? I’m in doubt choosing between kamui black or the how titan. Cause i heard that how titans are good
@@ratnaanggraini5066 …. I like the How Tip. Nowhere near as much maintenance as the Kamui tips.
I just got my Hsunami 2.0 from Richard installed with a CAIDEN Fighter Medium tip and it plays, feels and astounds phenomenal! I played on my Carbon shafts ZAN Hybrid MAX (ok,could be better), KAMUI Athlete M (ok, could be better), KO Medium and Soft (both very good, although i usually don’t play Soft tips), TAOM Fusion (very good tip too). But for now i have to say the CAIDEN Fighter Medium plays amazing. Let’s see after a few months of playing.
How do you feel taom fusion vs caiden?wich one feel soft tip caiden M/fusion taom?
How do feel?
Should I look at a different tip I just got a predator revo which came with their soft tip it's crazy how different it shoots compared to my $200 stick which I had to get back out I was frustrated trying to shoot with the predator is it a learning curve I was struggling with the predator got the old stick out and started knocking them down
I had the same issue when i first got my predator shaft. I suggest changing the weight of your cue or just swap the tip. Ive always like the tiger (onyx) tips.
I got a thoroughbred med hard installed by Seyberts but its flat, do I need to shape it? Its already glazed over after 1 month. What should I do to optimize it?
Yes shape it
For the price i love ultraskin tip wich gives a lot of retro.
Tiger Everest and emerald are as good as kamui black.
Best cheap but premium quality tips are super pro, tons of spin and power.
I've used almost all popular tips including all the old single piece, ultra skin, milk duds, tiger dynamite and soo many I can't even remember, have some old moori I haven't used yet aswell 😊😊
Also for long distance spin shots especially table length draw you need a medium tip as softs just don't carry enough fiz to get table length backspin from 9 foot away
Do you know what Kamui means by saying their Black tips are more bouncy than their Brown tips? Maybe use another word than bouncy. I play the brown and it’s firm but I can’t understand what they mean by black more bouncy brown is more firm? Thank you
The black feels more elastic in hit. That is what they mean by bouncy. A Kamui brown feels more traditional. The bouncy feeling helps with spinning the cue ball easier. Best to put one on and try it.
How and how titan zan standard and zan premium would be interesting
I like your videos, this one did seem to be a caiden advertisement.
It’s funny people will say that when I’m very positive towards a product. I test each product extensively and everything in my videos are all my opinion. No advertisements here. Caiden really is a great tip and I personally use them for all my cues now after testing them. I’ve been a long time Kamui user and switched because of the glazing issues.
So which one do you prefer? the kamui black or the kamui black clear?
Love from Indonesia btw 🇲🇨 big thanks for sharing bro
Black clear as the clear can be used for future tips which help protect the ferrule during installs. Give's a slightly firmer hit than the regular.
@@TheBilliardCorner Very well explained, bro 🙌🏻
One more question brother, Would you recommend the HOW Titan tip than the kamui black? Cause i heard that the HOW tips are good too, as good as the kamui black.
@@nafiammar I recommend the Caiden tbh. The Caiden has the elasticity of the Kamui black but no glazing at all with a great hit. Caiden is what I use for my playing cues now. If I had to choose between the Kamui or HOW I would choose Kamui.
How Titan tips please 😊
If you could only choose between the kamuis and thoroughbred. What tip u picking?
Thoroughbred
Kamikaze tips, please
G2 tip please.
I scratch like 10 times with my old tip. Now I have a Kamui Black I only scratch 9 times.
Τry the moori tips again!!!!!!
Nishiki tip please
Good video. I used to be an old school La Pro guy but recently changed to Kamui Brown Soft and it’s definitely softer & quieter but I really like it and still getting used to the spin it can induce so much easier than the La Pro. One must also know that all cues hit different like different shafts in golf clubs and finding the right tip for one’s cue feel & sound is part of the process. Some cues just hit harder or softer than others and certain soft or hardness can help one get what they’re looking for. I’m going to try the Kamui Black Soft next. I’m pretty impressed with Triangle chalk they say is for snooker made by Master for a very good and cost effective chalk. Check out a few of my videos. Cheers
Still i am using Sniper Tip ❤❤❤
This was a great video for the glazing part is that also why when you use chalk like the v10 and other chalks I can’t stand the glazing it looks like a shiny bald head lol
You have to put them on the same shaft
There is a difference between the force of the shaft and the strike
How and how titan tips
Does the mouth make the hand/arm move.......Or does the hand/arm movement make the mouth move?
I think there’s some Italian blood in there 😁
😂 i use kamui black medium on cue that i buy it only $200 in 1996, and still work perfectly..
KO brother TIP !!!
Yeah I love that tip
Zan Hybrid
PECHAUER Jade Tip Medium
Cool, wth is a crispy hit tho ? 😆
Not a lot of people know Caiden yet. Not popular yet. You should compare Zan tip
Zan Plus
Navigator Sigma Tip Soft
What do you mean by "crispy" 🤔
I thought he was gonna tell us about his grandmother's crispy fried chicken recipe.
😂
Seems as though a multi-laminate tip would not be that different than a ball of glue.
My first kamui tip i bought a year ago was amazing. But nowadays the kamui tips i buy are horrible. So bad that even with normal play, one of the layers just came off. Notsure why but its probably fake
Searing tips
New tips are not a great way to compare tips. Compare them after a lot of use … when the leather gets compressed & chalked multiple times. I removed my Kamui tips & went back to LePro because the Kamui got glazed after a period of use. Reshaping & lightly removing the hard surface was required more often. I have been playing since 1959 … I know how to take of a cue.
Every tip was used heavily before doing the review.
I too, changed Kamui cause of glazing. Been using milkduds since. No glaze and cheap and easy to make.
How titan vs Caiden fighter 👍
Kamui black hard player here
NISHIKI TIP
my only comment is, FAR TOO MUCH HAND MOVEMENT.... :)
Ultraskin
Moori
Athlete from kamui …
When you talk in the camera, please stop swinging your hands all the time. It's annoying.
It's easy to control your hands. Just hold a cue !!!
But thanks for your testing and the info you give.
