    Can the forms pre-fill the user's first name, last name, email based on their logged in Wordpress status or them having clicked through from an email they received sent by FluentCRM?

      @WPManageNinja  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can prefill a form with the logged in users first name, last name and email.

      If you want to pass the value of one input field into another using get parameter within the same form, then that won't be possible.

    I understand how to customize fields in the editor.
    I understand how URL parameters work.
    But... what am I doing with the URL info? Am I supposed to replace the defaut value in the editor (maybe)? Or somewhere else?
    How does a user view a pre-populated page?
    Or... is the use case for this scenario simply my pasting a manipulated URL in a totally different document (or email), when I want someone to use this form? < < I feel like this is the missing lightbulb from this tutorial.

      There are a lot of use cases of the URL parameter. Let's say you want to prefill the name and email of the user dynamically from a link, then you can use this feature. Also, if you want to store some custom data from the URL in a hidden field then you can also use this feature.

      @@WPManageNinja Yes, I understand now.
      I think the missing piece in offering this information is to elaborate on HOW to use the URL. Examples usually work well - for example, copying the URL (after adding the desired additional parameters) into a totally different application like, an email, or a button, or a blog post, etc.
      Still, great information, especailly the explanation in the introduction of WHY you would want to do this.
      Cheers!

      You would have to use shortcodes in default values of a field if you want to pass certain values to the fields directly. You can also create your own custom smartcodes in FluentForms using custom PHP codes. You can check our developer documentation here - fluentforms.com/docs/creating-custom-smartcode-for-form-editor/

    I want to pull data from Fcrm to a Fform. I want to type an email in order to fill out a form. This will allow me to complete a pdf such as a contract. Is this possible? I will be the logged in person and don’t want to re-enter the contacts information again.

    • @WPManageNinja
      @WPManageNinja  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, You can pull data from FluentCRM into FluentForms. There are shortcodes available in FluentForms that you can set in the default value option and it will fetch the FluentCRM data.wpmanageninja.com/docs/fluent-form/miscellaneous/form-editor-smart-codes/#fluentcrm-smartcodes You can check our documentation here -

      @@WPManageNinja Thank you. That helps. Do I use the email address as the trigger to pull in all other data? That part isn’t quite clear to me.

    • @WPManageNinja
      @WPManageNinja  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are separate shortcodes for all the fields in FluentCRM. So, if you want to fetch the country then it will be {fluentcrm.country}, for first name it will be {fluentcrm.first_name} and so on.
