There are spots when showing the bluff is a great idea, and other spots where it's a horrible idea. It helps to add complexity to table image, and is very dependent on how you have been running and how you want to play moving forward.

KK hand: 4b to 14k with entire range and be value heavy, exploit and profit
AQ hand 4b to 14k again, value heavy.
JJ hand 3b to $6k, value heavy.
These people aren't folding, exploit them by being value heavy and betting huge. Massive leak by raising small.
KQs hand: I think when JR bets that flop 3 ways in a 3b pot he rarely has air. Seems like a horrible spot to raise unless you think he is going to b/f TPTK+, or fold 1pair a high % on the turn/river. Honestly, I think you just got lucky that he nit overfolds, and played his hand poorly.
KK hand: 3b size looks good! Easy 5b here, $80k to go, spr is like 2.5 postflop-- position doesn't matter as much. Also, If your read is he gets out of line pre, you should continue owning him preflop. Make him call a bet he shouldn't, or even 6b spaz with JTo or AQ or something. AP, Not sure why you are calling on the river here??
-Retired pro of 10years, and coach.
    Your welcome.

Tough night. At the end, you justify calling saying you have top full house, except you don't. 88 with the board 66268 would be top full house. You're also losing to AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT. But I understand the anguish of repeatedly missing draws and getting scalded. Hang in there. I'm sure next session makes it up for you.

On that big hand that you had K-K and he raised you $36,000; you have the second best starting hand…why didn’t you all-in him? To be frankly honest, if you say you were worried about the money you shouldn’t be playing at these stakes. If you went all in there is no way he could have called you and you’d been $50k richer instead of $150k down. Remember it next time my friend….if he has A-A, we’ll that’s poker and you live with it……this way you burned yourself out of the money.

The KK J10 hand was wonkey. Love your content, but that was wonkey IMO. You have AA in your range with the preflop action. Passive calling on a JJA board is going to get you in trouble enough % of the time. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that hand could've played out differently.

  • @xd-metal9026
    @xd-metal9026 ปีที่แล้ว

So, you have KK and you say you just call the raise because you’re out of position with just one pair. First, it was preflop action, don’t know how you could have more than one pair with no cards on the board yet 🤣
Second, you do not flat call a raise from OP when holding KK, you have to make a huge 5-bet because you’ll be first to act on the flop, if he folds, that’s perfect, you still win a nice pot which is better than having an ace cracking down your kings on the flop.
Third, I shouldn’t have watched this vid before going to bed. I’m fuming right now. Way too many mistakes!

Sadly, you're turning winning sessions into losing ones, needlessly. You're a good player, you just need to change gears sometimes. Good luck.

Rampage you cannot call Ben with KK for that amount of money. You literally lost over 100k on horrible play. It doesn't matter if he has it or he doesn't that's not the point of losing investors money. What's on the flop 2 cards that beat you. Just a Ace beats you. You are going to keep losing on calls like that. No way would I find you playing like that

You were doing amazing at first but as soon as they figured you out they smelt blood. I think next time keep your quiet composure don’t show your hands or emotions sometimes when you’re ahead it’s okay to fold when you possibly might not have the best hand on the flop. It’s about maintaining the lead and having the best possible hand. The guy with quad 6s that should of been a given. Don’t over analyze it just remember to breathe and think what would kayne west do

you should call this channel "Fuck the poor". I am a fan of poker but to see a table with tens of millions of dollars on it is just insane, insulting and frankly disturbing.

Let’s say ben was bluffing, even a bluff maniac in a 4 bet pot and against you especially who don’t let go your hand easily, i cant see him bluffing on that board, and you were wondering how he checked that flop when he can easily check all AK, or AA on that flop as it’s hard to get any value from worst hands and if he had AK he might be worried that u have a J in ur hand, i was choked u call tbh after u made a very disciplined fold against nik airball, anyway i love ur content but plz when u play these high stakes it’s ok if sometimes u fold for big bets when having having slight doubts that your opponent is bluffing u, u can always find better spots to bluff catch and spots to bluff on, cheers man

Some brutal luck there. Personally I’d have been more aggressive pre-flop with the Kings… had good value on the table so I’d rather force the other hands out than even see a flop… sure if he had called it would have been an L anyway but odds are he wouldn’t have called with a Jack and you could have just robbed the pot.

So the title & beginning of video says he bought in 500,000.
At the end he says it was 400,000?
Also, if he raised 175,000 and lost 107,000, what happens to the remaining 68,000?

You should have folded that KK against that big turn bet. An Ace or Jack beats you which they can easily have and if you are calling almost pot out of position on the turn you also have to factor in you are gonna have to most likely call a way bigger bet on the river. So do you really want to commit 100k-150k to the pot(both bets combined) with not even top pair? I'm folding KK all day to that turn bet. It's not worth it.

Just got to say, on the first hand you commented that your set of kings was the best hand possible.. Actually 5,4 makes the straight on the flop. That hand is definitely in his range,😀..

I really can't understand allowing a weaker hand to run it more than once. Is this just some sort of kindness and etiquette? That seems ridiculous cause when I play, I'm there to take everyone's money. Not be Mr. Nice Guy.

ok ok now I get why you dont accept call out of playing $50k heads up, you are not a real big money player , you get staked, and live in , or at least film from a room. backdrop like that.... keep pushing and getting better, you will get there....btw my offer is still on the table

I just don't understand the snap call with JJ, and decided to run twice. If you knew you were way ahead (since u snapped called), I don't see the reason why running once is a bad idea. In a flop like that, you knew you were only losing if he gets lucky, and giving him a chance to get lucky not once but twice, just doesn't make sense to me.

2:02--Except it's not the best hand possible. 4/5 is. Lucky for you he didn't have it.
I couldn't call that river bet with kings when an A or J has you beat. But that's just me.

I really like your check on the river with the AQ
I maybe would’ve shoved all in preflop with kings. It’s either he has aces or he doesn’t.

With pocket kings you raise on the turn. You know that from his range he would fold with anything that’s not a king but if you call after raising that flop you would be signaling a lower pair. If you called on the king than he could of raised and even said that he considered raising after you bet. You missed out on so much. Raising would only have him call if he had pocket aces or a hand with a king which is very unlikely. Such a blunder

Best bluff I have ever seen, followed by a lay down that should of happened. KK always is an ace magnet, plus with JJ also on board, should have ben easy lay down, especially for 80k.

You want to win by g you got to lay big….and you can’t play scared. When your playing ultra high stakes and someone ask you to run It twice forget it. Why give him another chance to make good on their mistake?
