@@samsclocks2084 thank you! The wood is looking a bit rough. I’m going to need to do something to it soon. Before I purchased it the owners had left it sitting in their garage for many years. I was told that it wasn’t a good thing to have left it sitting on the concrete.
@@samsclocks2084 ok I may try the lemon oil. I didn’t seem to have any luck with old English. I did use Howard’s restore a finish as well but it didn’t last too long.
@@brianeifert4667well, most clocks don’t sound like this and this is a trend which was only the single clock company before Sligh took their name! This is also a model a lot of people don’t see everyday!
I didn't know if you knew or not. But before I go any further I just want to know what you've done with the clock before it came to me. I know a couple bushings were botched but is there anything else you tried?
It looked pretty clean but I just thought I'd ask you before I dive into it. Looks like it needs quite a few bushings apart from the ones you tried but that should be all it needs to get it running.
That clock is beautiful with its door closed.
Beautiful piece

I’d use old English or lemon oil on the wood and give it a good finish. Yeah having it in their garage is not good for the wood or the brass movement.

Hope all works well
Nice clock!

Just got the Kieninger movement delivered

@@samsclocks2084 no not necessarily I did clean the movement to the best of my ability probably could be cleaned better.

@@samsclocks2084 oh really seemed like the rest of the pivot holes were good but I’m still new this so I really don’t know a whole lot.
