- I show that a function is not continuous, both using sequences and epsilon-delta. Because you can really understand a topic by understanding its opposite, enjoy!

Well you have taken maths to a different level during this pandemic. Thanks to you I'm able to learn a lot.
I am very impressed you're learning so much. I saw another comment where you said you were in fifth grade. Does that mean you are 11 years old?
Third way using nonstandard analysis:
Let h
Great video to clearly explain the concept of discontinuity ! Thank you Dr Peyam !
If I have to lift my pen from the paper to draw the function then it is not continuous. This is the ultimate theorem for continuity.
Why is this every teacher ever?
WTF?! It's Want To Find
in my opinion if f(a)=f(a)+=f(a)-
then f(x) is continuous at x=a
if f(x) is a Differentiable function at ]a,b[
then it must be continuous at ]a,b[
I am just a student
Could you have done it by contradiction? Assume f is cont. And fix epsilon to be 1/2, there exist delta >0 s.t for all x , if |x - 0| < delta, then |f(x)-f(0)| < epsilon. Since this is true for all x, it musts also be true for x
I mean essentially the same proof
@@drpeyam Thank you!
Ok. Thanks.
I found an Easter egg.
Try to figure it out before clicking "read more"
It's at the bottom-right of the board

Wahhh...It's the first week of discrete mathematics all over again! lol.
90k!! Yayyyyyyyyy!
