I’m looking forward to seeing Ozpin’s reaction once Team RWBY and Jaune reveals their adventures in the Ever After.
I too wonder how OZ and everyone else Reaction to Jaune being the Rested knight will be! I feel Jaune going to be keeping his distance from everyone after talking about his life story and might be a Edgelord or go through a Change since I can say that Jaune is probably done with being a knight.
@@AaronS4 The only thing I really expect from this is that somehow, if Ozma knows of this, he might tell everyone of how Alyx and Michael fell in the Ever After in the first place and what became of Michael after the events of the Ever After.

@@wrestlingpurist9784 My theory is that the two kids fell in with the first group of people that Cinder blew off the walkway. Jaune was the last to fall in and he touched one of the time fruits which sent him back. The two kids probably did as well as children like to touch everything.
There is a little titbit about what Ozpin does or doesn't know about the Ever After in the Volume 9 Ending Animatic.
The Fact that Jaune was an After thought really stung!
To be fair, Sun Wukong has never actually had an onscreen conversation with Jaune in the show so far, so maybe he just straight up doesn't know him that well.

I'm more curious about the villain's side and seeing how far Salem and Cinder have progressed.
Theodore looks like he's on the younger side of Ozpin's secret society compared to Leo and Ironwood.

When I saw the summer maiden, I was shocked. After years of not getting info about the summer maiden, we finally see her. I theorized maybe it is summer rose, but maybe it’s some else I guess we will have to see. But over all, it’s a good episode.
I am inclined to agree with your Summer Rose theory. They said no new characters. Summer Rose is not a new character. And her death has not been confirmed in cannon yet.

Ah! Phoenix uploaded!! I've been wanting a RWBY fix with all of the stuff that's happening with Rooster Teeth and these little shorts are exactly what the doctor ordered. And, for me, part of RWBY is hearing from you too, I've been watching your videos since volume 8 and really like the information and theories you present.
As far as the episode itself goes, I don't know what to think about Oscar/Ozpin not knowing ANYTHING about what happened to RWBY/Jaune. I can see them maybe not saying something until they themselves had more conclusive evidence because that's kind of what happened with Ambrosius. They didn't tell the rest of the group anything about them until they needed to know. I do find it strange that Oz, who helped create the vaults, wouldn't know anything about the crossroads and what might have happened. But the question then becomes... Why not say anything? Because we know from volume 6 that the group NEEDS Oz to be open and honest with them because he's broken their trust so many times.
I definitely do think that the other woman is the Summer Maiden because I don't know who else it could be. Why introduce anyone else that isn't her? Even if it is Rumpole, why would she be hiding her face? Everyone there (even Sun and Neptune) already know who she is.
I got a feeling that sun and neptune are the most qualified people in the city to investigate the disappearance of TEAM RWBY + jaune

Nah, they're too Himbo to have good leads LOL. I mean if no one else can fathom that they fell into another world then there's no way Sun and Neptune would. There investigation board has no mention of anything magical. They wrote in Remnant locations but nothing even remotely relic vault or "other-wordly" related.

Damn, I was about to suggest Gillian Asturias as the hooded figure since she had a change of heart, but immediately remembered that the entire Academy fought against her and The Crown, so they would have recognized her.
I know that Theodore was supposed to be the youngest Headmaster after Ozpin, but I didn't think he would look so youthful in RWBY Beyond. I remember some early artwork of him with grey on the either side of his head, so maybe I'm biased towards that look. I'm not sure about boxing gloves, but I think he is wearing his Ruby Gloves in that scene, just need to squint at his hand.

Maybe the "no new character" line was to say the summer maiden is a character we've already seen or heard of, and not a totally new character... I won't bet a penny on this but this could, for exemple, be one of Jaune's sisters (one of them had a signature purple dress on the familly photo). But this also could be Nora's mother or a character from after the fall, before tje dawn or Roman's Holiday character... Also, great to see you again.
There is. Theory it is sun’s cousin as he acted very defensive when mentioned and starr owns a dojo off of vacuo and has a low profile

It also could’ve happened after Rwby came back from the ever after which would mean which would mean it would have to be ruby and they don’t want anyone else to know that they are live so she’s wearing cloak

I really don't know how i feel about the similarities between this summer maiden and Summer Rose (red cape, dark hair, silvery light reflection?, and if it is Summer then it isn't actually a new character)
It’s definitely the summer maiden since the spring and winter maidens are at the meeting and they are not going to have cinder at the meeting since she serves Salem

On second thought, that’s kinda stupid. There’s no clear connection between the girl who fell through the world and rwby+j’s disappearance (at least not to them) so no reason to seek them out in the first place if that’s who they are

We finally have a Full 1st Look of Headmaster Theodore,I can already imagine Travis Willingham being brought in to voice the Character.
So can I. Having Travis would be great and he has done voices for Roosterteeth before. He voiced the commander of the Atlas ship in RWBY Vol 3. He also had a voice role in the RWBY / DC cross over. I am not sure but I think he voiced Superman. Love to hear him again.
Another possible candidate for who's in that office if it isn't Summer (the maiden) is... Ruby? Given this episode is about them not knowing where they are, and yet we see Raven here, along with Qrow kicking them out, it could be that this is actually *just after* RWBAY get back to Remnant, but they're being kept secure for now for reasons.
My only actual evidence is the girl being short and in a hood lol

What I'm thinking is that remnant is like one week. Not a long period of time. When winter saw and found out that team RWBY and jaune were still alive, they removed the gravestone by destroying it with nora and winter. And I do hope Headmaster Theodore will be voiced by Kevin Sorbo.

You forgot to watch and review of Vol. 9 Ch. 11 (Bonus Ending Animatic), it's already came out few months ago (I think).
If it's not a new character, I'd wager the summer maiden is Illia. Every maiden is connected to one of the main characters: spring with Yang, fall with Ruby, and winter with Weiss. That just leaves Blake. The only women she's close to are Illia and her mother. Since Winter and Raven are already family member maidens, it would be lazy to make Khali the Summer Maiden.
I'm gald you back you also need to talk the people who were in the ever after too after what they gone through and what could happen to them now back home. Especially Jaune too, he been there the longest.

I hope someone else would carry on with the RWBY series since I heard recently that RoosterTeeth was shutting down. It'd be a bummer if the show didn't finish towards the end and left so many unanswered questions for us fans to wonder about
It's a trick. It's the summer maiden with a callback to volume 5 and it is a character we have seen before. The show's greatest mystery is about to be revealed whether we like it or not, and if it isn't, let the headcanons run wild!
To be honest I hope the Summer Maiden is Starr Sanzang because Sun never actually states that he doesn't know her but rather it is Neptune who says that with Sun outright denying that she could be the Summer Maiden possibly because he DOES recognize her but doesn't think she could be the maiden someone like his cousin Starr also her being Starr would make sense if my theory on Team RWBY eventually becoming the maidens is true with Cinder losing her power to Ruby and Raven & Winter's powers going to Yang & Weiss respectively with Sun being the connection between Blake & Starr it could work and as for how Team RWBY would get the maidens powers without them dying well it has been proven that magic can be given to another person as shown with Ozma/Ozbin & the Original Maidens, Raven, & Qrow so whos to say that a maiden can't simply give the magic to another person like Ozma did their predecessors
If they are trying to have Raven help the heroes again, we need to know what led to this point. Is she consumed by guilt for what happened to Yang, for running away and leaving the war to Yang? Did Qrow, Tai, or maybe even Winter chew her out for cooperating with the same people who murdered Team RWBY?!?! We got to get a satisfying answer or it’s not going to make sense considering what we have seen of her in earlier volumes
Lost miserably? That was his favourite jacket "destroyed." Plus I thought that Rumpole was about 4ft. I did "read" the two RWBY/CFVY books last year. (I covered them in a video in January!)

Only one episode 1 and already I have more questions than answers, but the 4th headmaster has been revealed and if we do get vol.10, I wonder how he's going to react when Team RWBY & Jaune do return and start helping out - because the other 2 were not reliable for sure (keeping my description light worded). I'm still wondering how Winter was restrained starting a fight with Raven when they arrived in Vacuo, plus that hooded figure … who the heck is that person.
Even though I think it might be that the summer maiden powers were sent into another reality/ universe, to which a worthy host was found and she came to remnant when the vacuo portals opened up. It might be Summer Rose who probably was still alive by being sent to alternate world to stay safe with the summer maiden powers, who got pulled back to remnant when the vacuo portals opened up, or if team RWBY fell into an alternate world a brand new summer maiden from another universe stepped through. Also if there's a part where Ironwood was still alive and tried to go to Vacuo to disrupt everything, he got what he painfully deserved from everyone there. Just some guesses from me, and possible scenes - even though they wont happen.

I'm suprised you didn't know that Junior detectives was not first introduced in Chibi. It was actually from the Volume 2 ep 9 where the Teams choose a mission to shadow a huntsman. Sun and Neptune chose a mission to shadow a Detective in vale and imprtantly they got junior badges. In 2.12 Breach, Sun even calls themselves Junior Detectives. Chibi just ran with the idea and did it humorously and this seemed to attempt to blend the seriousness of the main show with the silliness of Chibi junior detectives.

They could've said "no new characters" with an asterisk, since book characters won't technically be new.
A lot of people i see are speculating the potential summer maiden to be Starr, hence Sun's outright rejection at the suggestion that this mystery woman could be a maiden.
Another take, is that this woman is the "young girl who looks a lot like Theodore" mentioned to have a portrait of in his office
The short is nice. But I wish Sun and Neptune's investigation is focused on Mercury Black and Tyrian as the suspects to capture in order to prevent them from succeeding Salem's plans.

I really like the V9 Beyond concept, it lets us see more of the info we've been craving but in shorter bits before hopefully/possibly/I'm praying please having a whole season.
Now, call me an idiot if I just completely missed the memo but: what happened to Pietro and Maria? Last I remember they were on Amity Colosseum, which would have fallen after Penny got corrupted and the message went out, so... were we just supposed to take that as their deaths? Did I forget something in between? Cause they have not been in *any* updates, that I've seen anyway. Not the V9 Beyond, not the bonus animatic, nothing.

Yup it is. We do have Cinder Fall as an example, though she was morally corrupt before getting the powers. Just as Leonardo Lionheart started out on Ozpin's side and turned against him, so too could a maiden

@@PhoenixNight I sincerely hope they find a way to not just finish the series but improve it from the way it's been going don't get me wrong I'm still enjoying it but they're kind of going off the deep end on some of the aspects straying too far from Monty's vision I would love to see more crossovers in the future though with a Justice League or whatever I am slightly disappointed with the part 2 of the Justice League crossover I wanted to see Team Ruby in the art style of Justice League

I have a theorie and i need to tell you all.
I think that the reason ozpin can not defeat salem. Is because when ruby meets salem again after volume 9.
Ruby is going to say to Salem: you were right the gods are wrong and flawed and they team up against the gods.
Of course this is very summarized but i hope i got my point across.
I don’t think they would necessarily team but it would be a moment similar to what happened with neo where Ruby realizes that Salem is also a broken individual and try to make her also realize that/ accept what happened in her in the past and move on. As for the gods, I think in the end they will be summoned but they’ll be told they aren’t needed and they should no longer interfere with their world.
