Hello Sir. Hardness under 50 PPM is termed as soft water and is most safe to use. There is absolutely no problem in consuming that water but since Water Softeners don't eliminate Mud and metals other than Calcium and Magnesium (That scales), it is suggested to install a RO or Water Purifier on point of use where you can get safe water for consumption. There are no chemicals or Salt added by water softener that can make water unsafe for drinking. Hope this helps. 🤝
@@stanwang64 Yes it might be due to hardness in Water. Try bottled water to wash hair for 2 days. If you see some difference it ll be clear that hardness is the culprit.
Hey. Hope you are doing great. AE-201 and AE-221 both are Water Hardness Test Kits. The difference is in the checking range. In AE-201, You can check hardness in the count of 2 and 5. In AE-221, You can check hardness in the count of 5 and 25. I suggest you to go for AE-221 by which you can test soft and hard water faster. Hope this helps.
TDS is a measure of all hard metals available in water. While Hardness kit measures amount of Calcium and Magnesium in water. For a reference, Hardness can never be more than the TDS Value. Hope this helps.

Under 50 PPM Level for Water is considered as soft. You can go for a Water Softener if Hardness level is above 100 PPM
