  • Black Square’s Analog Bonanza brings you a completely new interior, panel and systems with the default MSFS G36 Bonanza exterior model, including added tip tanks. This product contains both normally aspirated (A36) and turbocharged (A36TC) aircraft with an advanced reciprocating engine simulation, and features analogue instrumentation, swappable radio configurations and an overhauled electrical system with every circuit breaker, meter, switch, and knob functioning.

Great video review. But you’re misusing the word “Glareshield”. The glareshield is the top part of the instrument panel up by the windshield. Think automobile dashboard separate from the gauges or instruments. Maybe I misunderstood something but twice you seem to call the instrument panel a glareshield.

My favorite review vids. The product video at the beginning is always beautiful! What do you use for replay Murph? What I like best is how you've broken every review into the separate chapters. It's clear and super concise. It's professional.

Did you mention the KNS 81 which gives you RNAV capabilities based on VORs and not GPS? I think that's a feature worth mentioning since it is one of the only planes featuring this navigation option.
Solid video as always.. stay awesome!

Wasn´t that a rather low score for the most sophisticated and detailed GA-airplane ever made (at least until the Duke is released)? The intense amount of possible failures, all circuit breakers functional, the superb amount of possible radio stack options which allow to get all these navigation screens out of the cockpit to fly VOR only like in the nineties instead of mangenta-line-boredom everyone does nowadays, the intense howl of the turbocharger and the awesome night lighting is a 5 out of 5 :)

I've noticed that both my A36 Bonanza as well as my TBM 850, both from blacksquare; both reaces update 0.1.1 - then nothing more. I wished, since this is a fine product that there could be more added to the mod, if so only more liverys etc (but hoping for more than that of course).

Now what we need is a Turboprop A36 variant!

I would’ve paid extra for a V-tail version alongside what they put out.

      @davidtsw 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

just wait for the proper one from A2A, it'll be a V tail anyway.

V-Tail would handle very differently but I would love a V-Tail with the level of complexity that JF and Blacksquare could produce

I enjoyed watching another review from you but I have to say I disagree on the scoring for some of the categories, especially in relation to how you scored other planes.
You were praising the visuals inside out and then score it 3.5 ? Why so low ? I mean I get it, it's the default model on the outside but still, 3.5? Seems very low to me. The inside, as you said, looks great and the Asobo exterior is good enough.
Then the systems. You say everything is modeled; failures, wear and tear, and only score it a 4? I mean 4 is what you scored the Carenado 182 for the systems... I wonder how many out there will agree that these 2 planes are on the same level in terms of systems modeling ;)
And the flight model, which is only improved, and gets a whole 1 sentence mention in the product features (I wonder why), and which you say is "solid" gets a 4 too ? I mean BS are famous for their systems modeling, not flight models. How can their Bonanza score the same in these categories?
IMO this plane deserves at least 4 for the visuals, 4.5 for systems, maybe 4 for the flight model and probably 3.5-4 for the sounds, I'd say 3.5 because it's mostly just default sounds.

Many thanks for your feedback and it’s great to read your opinions on the scoring. When considering the visuals I looked for static elements, door openings, number of liveries etc. Systems, and whilst I think they are excellent- there are some missing features. In saying that I am aware they are bringing a new EFB out with the Duke so maybe they will add this to the rest of the fleet. If so, I will certainly revisit. The flight model has received tweaks by the developer and of all the default aircraft by Asobo, the Bonanza felt very close to the real thing.

A big error by Asobo is the dynamic reg. number. The US N registered aircraft don 't heve the number under the left wing like in Europe or Australia. Same for NZ. I personally prefer the old non changeable option. The real turbocharged version have also some different air intakes on the nose. Most old Bonanza today on sale are upgraded with more modern glass cockpit. Despite this it is in my wishlist since long time. I like the new rewiew system. Do more and more of them.

do the doors open? I used too own a carenado with all the bells and whistles..doors and windows opened so why do we have to settle for this sad and incomplete plane in msfs. And look at you loving this unfinished bird . Wow, I thought you had some taste.

No it´s not. Black Square doing the best most sophisticated insanely detailed aircraft ever developed for any sim, on par with the Hotstart Challenger for X-Plane :)
